Since we first opened our doors in January 2017 as an owner-run safari company based in Nairobi, Kenya, it has been our main focus to provide our customers with private, tailor-made itineraries designed to showcase select destinations in Eastern Africa—a region that encompasses some of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife viewing areas, cultural heritages, and landscapes.

We specialize in Kenya and Tanzania safaris while embracing a broader East African and continental outlook. Hicimos un Safari con Charles por distintos parques de Kenia. Solo puedo decir que fue una experiencia increíble y Charles superó nuestras expectativas del todo. Siempre fue súper amable, con una gran (Read More) sonrisa y con un conocimiento increíble de la fauna y de todos los parques, y un gran amor por los animales. Se nota que disfruta verdaderamente de su trabajo. Además siempre se amoldó a nosotros e intento que pudiéramos observar el big five y muchísimos otros animales. Finalmente acabamos siendo amigos, ya que compartimos muchas risas y buenos momentos. Una experiencia 100% recomendable y que esperamos poder repetir en breve.

We, the family of Amarnath Banerjee,from India, booked our trip to Kenya with Dens of Africa on 7th October 2025. Our safari was excellently organized by the Dens team—especially June, who seamlessly (Read More)planned every detail of the trip. Charles executed it perfectly on the ground, from Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru and back to Nairobi. We were thrilled to spot all the Big Five within the first two days of our stay in the Mara. Lake Nakuru was truly the icing on the cake, where we saw even more rhinos and male lions resting beside the road. Charles was exceptionally skilled at spotting wildlife, and his vast knowledge of animal behavior was truly impressive. I highly recommend Dens of Africa as your travel partner for an unforgettable African safari experience. When it comes to exploring the African savanna, no one can beat Charles! We traveled in a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser that was extremely comfortable, equipped with a charging system and a fridge to keep our water cool throughout the journey. We will definitely share our wonderful experience and recommend Dens of Africa and their amazing team to more of our friends. ---

We, a 30-year old couple from Denmark, had the most amazing week of safari with Dens of Africa. In 7 days we visited Amboseli, Naivasha, Hells Gate, Nakuru and Masai Mara and we got very close to anim (Read More)als in a respectful matter. June was a great help in the organizing, and she helped create the itinerary matching our wishes as well as finding accommodation matching our budgets and still being beautiful and well located. She was transparent and good at communicating, and we felt in good hands long before arriving in Kenya. Timan, our guide for the week, was outstanding. His knowledge of the animals is impressive and he learned us so much about them as well as about Kenyan culture. He is always thinking ahead, making sure that we were safe and having the best possible experience. His many years of experience is evident. We could not have dreamt of a better guide. Our warmest recommendations for Dens of Africa, especially June and Timan.
