Our experience has been good. Driver was really helpful. Hotels & pax food provided was also good. Hope to use their services again.
All arrangements at the shimla and manali tour marvelous including accommodatiom, great travelling, rooms at the hotel are so clean, good food and great hospitality
Hi, I am from Visakhapatnam, Andhrapradesh. we booked travel package from Awesome Himalayan for 18 members including 7 kids. our package started from Delhi where the Volvo Zing Bus picked up to Manali (Read More). In Manali the same Hotel mentioned in quotation was provided which is Mountain Apple retreat adjoining to a Apple Tope. Here the rooms are New, neat and wonderful view. The staff and food are also good. The owner of Hotel Mr Asish is friendly with visitors and overall hospitality is excellent. We were provided with one 12 seater Force van and a car for local travel. We went up to Rohtang pass and the two Drivers also very good and co-operative. Next day we travelled to Shimla and the vehicles and drivers are different. Here the Car driver Mr Takur is good and Driver of Force van is not co-operative and adamant. The Hotel provided in Shimla is located in a valley with steep down but the food and rooms are good. We reached there in late night and faced difficulty. and we returned to Delhi from Shimla on the same Volvo Zing bus which is comfortable and in time.
Overall experience is good and I suggest the Management to provide packages keeping in mind the comforts of Tourists their time schedule and food requirements etc., Since we are from South India, areas with south Indian food are more comfortable and enjoyable. Tour to Shimla is totally is waste of time and Money. The whole day was wasted with dirty Traffic of Shimla and visit to Kurfi is totally waste. Nothing is there in Kurfi except pity Horses. So I, request to prepare better travel plans suitable to Travelers from different areas suitable to them and their time schedule. Finally the women/Girl I dont know her name who responds to our calls in the Awesome Himalayan is very co-operative and caring for Tourists and I thank her for nice response.
We have a horrible experience booking from this awesome Himalayan tours and travels. It's is very unfortunate that we have chosen our holiday with this cheating company. Once we pay the full payment i (Read More)n advance they don't even care to lift your phone. Highly unethical and worst service. Never ever recommend this company. At your own risk. All the promises and commitments will change after advance payment. So be carefull and keep all the agreements in writing before so u will never regret.
Would never recommend anyone. Have even filed a complaint with the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation. They Charge heavily for services provided. More than 50% commission they earn in each of yo (Read More)ur bookings. You end up paying almost double for everything. I customized my trip to Spiti valley through them. Did not make any booking for our camp in Chandertaal which is a difficult terrain. Never to take chances for a terrain like Chadrataal. no access road... takes 6-8 hours to reach Manali from there, No access to hospital, no mobile network. You are in soup if no tents are available there. They had only one job which was to book rooms for us and book cab service. They simply couldn't even do bookings. Made us (including my senior citizen parents) run around looking for tents in the middle of snow storm. No logical and reasonable explanation as well for not booking. On the contrary threatened us time and again. kept calling day and night. Want excess money for poor services. They promised us visit to Rohtang. But during the trip, driver refuses to go to Rohtang on the ground that no permission taken. it was their responsibility to take permissions. failed on that aspect as well. Gave us the most horrible driver ... least interested, sad, rigid, greedy driver. Did not clean the car even once. Would deliberately drive slow at the speed of 20 km/ hr so as to avoid sight seeings.

Things which were good.
1. View from manali hotel was amazing.
2. Natural beauty in jibhi stay was amazing. You will not even feel to go out.
3. Our trip manager used to ask everyday if we have any (Read More) issue. This was very good.
I would say it was a perfect trip.
Few feedback for next time improvements so we can opt the same agent again.
1. Breakfast: Tea & breads can't be considered in breakfast. In jibhi stay, there were having 4 options for breakfast. 2 options were always unavailable otherwise we need hike for 100 meters to eat them. in rest 2 options, 1 was local dish Siddhu. My family couldn't like it much as they were eating it first time. And the last option was bread.
2. Meal options: In jibhi stay, there were limited option for meals. And it was difficult to know what is paid and what is included. We got to know about that at last day when we were leaving. At least milk for baby must be included in breakfast.
3. Tree house: bathroom floor slope was opposite side. no ventilation fan in bathroom. no window with net, and gaps in floor wooden planks. In result, insects in bed.
In Manali, everything was good. But we were expecting that as the weather is cold there and we cant hang towels in balcony to get dried they should have changed them every day. Same with bedding. It should be changed at least once in 2 days. We stayed for 4 days there.
Drive was experienced so we were pretty confident on his driving and less worried when he was fast. But for a AC car we were expecting that the AC should be on in sundar nagar like areas where car is not ascending on the mountains. However, he finally switched on AC in chandigarh that was a relief for us.
Pathetic service. Only fooling the people around . Taking extra money and giving zero service. They give hotel some 7-8 km extra and don’t provide de any service.
Never go for this tours and travel.
