Feedback for Aswamedham Holidays
We, two families (4 adults and 2 kids), traveled to Kerala on a 9-night, 10-day trip starting on March 21st’ 24 with Aswamedham Holidays.
We chose Aswamedham Holidays (Read More)based on reviews from various media platforms, trusting them blindly.
Overall, we would rate our experience as 4 out of 5. (Must go tru good and points to improve section)
Positive Aspects
• Driver: Our driver, Alwin, deserves special appreciation. He was humble, honest, and an excellent driver. His calm and punctual driving, along with his efforts to keep the vehicle clean and manage our luggage efficiently, exceeded our expectations. Alwin was undoubtedly the best part of our trip, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout.
• Tour Manager: Communication with our tour manager, Mr. Shyam, was effective. He was attentive and delivered on his promises, although there were some gaps that need improvement. Shyam was always available to talk and tried his best to meet our expectations.
• Hotels: We rate the hotels 3.5 out of 5. This score is impacted by our experience at the Munnar hotel “Westwood Riverside Garden Resort “ and “Hotel Neelakanta” in Kovalam, which I will detail below.
• Trip Cost: The trip was reasonably priced considering the quality of service provided. We recommend Aswamedham Holidays for anyone planning a Kerala trip.
Areas for Improvement
• Hotel in Munnar: We stayed at the “Westwood Riverside Garden Resort” for 2 nights. The hotel did not meet our expectations, and we advise Aswamedham Holidays not to recommend it for deluxe/executive packages. The location, staff, and cleanliness were subpar. The rooms were old and not serviced properly, with issues like no water, non-functional telephone, and poor food quality. Despite informing Aswamedham Holidays, no changes were made. We felt neglected as better rooms were available and were given to walk-in guests despite we paid money well in advance, the Aswamedham Holidays image is on stake and not of the hotel.
• Hotel Neelakanta in Kovalam: While the hotel was good overall with decent food and breakfast, we faced issues with late check-out. Despite booking an extra room and informing the hotel and Aswamedham Holidays about our late flight well in advance, we were asked to vacate at the last minute, causing inconvenience with kids and luggage. We had to book another nearby hotel for a few hours.
Tourists book such trips based on trust, and it is crucial for the company to maintain this trust. Small, manageable issues can significantly impact the overall experience and the company's reputation through word of mouth.
