- **Note:** there may be more additional departure times for English Tours departing from The Shire's Rest, depending on the season

- Aug-Sep 2019: 10:40am, 12:50pm & 3:20pm
- Oct-Mar 2020: 10:40am, 11:45am, 1:20pm, 2:50pm, 4:20pm (with additional tours at 5:25pm from Dec-Feb)

- From Auckland: 2 hours and 15 minutes
- From Rotorua: 1 hour
- It is recommended to depart from The Shire's Rest if you are driving, as it is close to the Hobbiton Movie Set and there are plenty of parking lots nearby
