Day 1 (Sunday): Shimla – Sangla/Rakcham/Chitkul
  • After an overnight Volvo journey from Delhi to Shimla, arrive in Shimla in the morning and meet your driver.
  • Begin the scenic journey towards Sangla/Rakcham in the beautiful Kinnaur Valley.
  • En route, take a convenient stop for breakfast and freshening up before continuing the drive through the picturesque Himalayan landscapes.
  • Upon arrival in the Sangla Valley, proceed towards Chitkul, renowned as one of the last inhabited villages near the Indo-Tibetan border.
  • Enjoy the stunning mountain scenery, traditional wooden houses, and peaceful village atmosphere.
  • After sightseeing, return to Sangla/Rakcham for a delicious dinner.
  • Overnight stay at a comfortable homestay or hotel.
  • After breakfast, drive from Sangla to Tabo, enjoying spectacular views of the Kinnaur Himalayas and the dramatic landscapes of the Spiti Valley along the way.

  • Important Winter Season Note:
    • Heavy Snowfall & 4×4 Vehicle Requirement: During heavy snowfall in Kaza, 4×4 vehicles may be required for Hikkim, Langza, Komic, and nearby sightseeing if regular vehicles cannot operate. The extra 4×4 charges must be paid by the client on the spot.
    • Roadblocks & Extra Stay: If roads are blocked due to heavy snowfall and an extra stay is required, all additional accommodation, meals, and other expenses will also be borne by the client.
    • Poor Mobile/Network Connectivity: Mobile networks and internet services may be unavailable or weak in remote areas.
    • Power/Electricity Problems: Power cuts or limited electricity may occur in remote villages and hotels/homestays.
    • Medical/Emergency Evacuation: Due to the remote and high-altitude location, emergency medical facilities and evacuation may take time.
  • Other Important Information:
    • Fixed Departure: This tour operates on a fixed departure basis and starts every Saturday only.
    • Hotel Check-in/Check-out: Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in is subject to hotel availability. Your cooperation is appreciated.
    • Transportation: Vehicles will be provided as per the itinerary.
    • Tour Manager: A dedicated travel manager will be provided for groups of 20 or more persons. For smaller groups, a virtual tour manager will be assigned.
    • Hotel & Itinerary Changes: Due to unavoidable circumstances beyond the company's control, the hotel or tour itinerary may be changed. A hotel of the same category will be provided whenever possible.
    • Package Cancellation/Transfer: Once booked, the package cannot be cancelled, transferred, or exchanged, subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
    • Vehicle Breakdown: In case of a vehicle breakdown, travellers may need to wait for repairs or use an alternative arrangement provided by the company.
    • 4×4 Vehicle: If a 4×4 vehicle is required due to heavy snowfall or road conditions, the additional charges will be paid directly by the customer.
    • Personal Belongings & Safety: Travellers are responsible for their luggage, personal belongings, injuries, theft, and any loss or damage during the tour.
    • Illegal Activities: Carrying banned drugs or participating in any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. The company reserves the right to take appropriate action.
    • Misbehaviour: In case of serious misbehaviour or misconduct during the trip, the tour manager/company reserves the right to terminate the traveller's trip without refund.
    • Photography & Promotion: The company may photograph or record tour participants for promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish their images to be used must inform the tour leader/company at the beginning of the trip.

The trip was good and I could see everything because of our driver Hitesh. He is (Read More) so knowledgeable about roads, hotels, markets, weather. I guess this trip would have been incomplete without him.
Stays and food could have been better. I didn't like the Manali stay. It was not (Read More) a premium hotel and food was also not good. Echor backwoods villa at Narkanda stay was exceptional but again food was not good.
