Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Udaipur
Upon arrival at Udaipur Railway Station or Airport, meet and greet with our representative, followed by transfer to your hotel. After check-in, spend your evening enjoying a breathtaking boat tour over the picturesque Lake Pichola (at your own cost). Admire the royal buildings surrounding the lake and take in the spectacular sunset view. From the lake, enjoy stunning views of the City Palace along the eastern bank and beautifully landscaped gardens cascading toward the southern bank. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in the City of Lakes. Visit Fateh Sagar Lake and the Maharana Pratap Memorial. Take a photo stop at Nehru Garden, followed by a visit to Saheliyon-ki-Bari – a serene garden built for royal ladies. Drive past Sukhadia Circle and explore the Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum, which showcases a rich collection of folk costumes, ornaments, masks, puppets, and dolls. Later, visit the magnificent City Palace – the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, followed by Jagdish Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and stroll through the lush Gulab Bagh. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Mount Abu – Rajasthan’s only hill station. On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, head to Sunset View Point to witness the panoramic sunset over the Aravalli hills. Overnight stay at Mount Abu.
After breakfast, head out for a full day of sightseeing in Mount Abu. Begin with a visit to the spiritual campus of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris, followed by Adhar Devi Temple located inside a natural cave. Proceed to Achalgarh Fort and then to Guru Shikhar, the highest peak in the Aravalli range. Visit the intricately carved Dilwara Jain Temples, Honeymoon Point, and the local Art Gallery. End your day with a visit to Nakki Lake where you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride (at your own cost). Overnight stay at Mount Abu.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Udaipur Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Rajasthan’s lakes and hills.

Overall it was definitely a satisfying experience having a tour planned with Sun (Read More) Voyages. They suggested me an itinerary which I customised according to my choices and schedules and they gave me a perfect schedule that was well in my budget. The driver was quite flexible with schedule and allowed changes to original plan as the travel proceeded. The hotels included in the itinerary were all 3 stars and were quite good!
The food in Jaisalmer camp was little disappointing, to which they justified say (Read More)ing it was an off season and couldn’t make the arrangements well.
