Day 1 Arrival in Delhi-Shimla
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be greeted by our driver who will assist you with your transfer to Shimla, the former summer capital of British India. Nestled at an altitude of 2,205 meters, Shimla is renowned for its pleasant summers, snow-covered winters, and colonial-era architecture, earning it the title “Queen of the Hills.” On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, you can visit Mall Road for some shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Shimla.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Kufri, a popular destination for skiing and adventure activities. Later, visit the Jakhu Temple, situated atop a hill and accessible via a scenic trek. The temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, offers panoramic views and is frequented by playful monkeys. Post visit, explore the Ridge, the bustling Mall Road, and the Himachal State Museum for a glimpse into the region's cultural heritage. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Shimla.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Manali. En route, stop at Manikaran, famous for its hot sulphur springs and sacred significance for both Hindus and Sikhs. Visit the Parvati River, Kasol Valley, and Vaishno Devi Temple. You can also enjoy activities like river rafting (optional) and explore the Angora Rabbit Farm and the Kullu Shawl Industry. Today, a separate local vehicle will be arranged to visit Rohtang Pass, as outside vehicles are not permitted. On the way, stop at scenic spots such as Kothi, Gulaba (a picnic area and trekking starting point), Rahala Falls, and Marhi, a snow-covered location popular when Rohtang is closed. Enjoy snow activities like skiing, sledging, or simply playing in the snow. Later, visit Solang Valley, known for paragliding, zorbing, skating, and cable car rides. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Manali.
After breakfast, head out for half-day local sightseeing. Visit the iconic Hadimba Devi Temple, set amidst deodar forests, and the Club House. Explore the Tibetan Monasteries, known for their peaceful atmosphere and vibrant Tibetan handicrafts and carpets. Also visit Van Vihar and the local Mall Road for shopping. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Manali.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, check in and relax. Later, visit the Rock Garden, a unique artistic marvel created by Nek Chand using industrial and urban waste. Explore other attractions like Sukhna Lake and if time permits, visit the Museum and Art Gallery in Sector 17, the National Gallery of Portraits, and the Child Art Gallery. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Chandigarh.
