Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati – Kaziranga

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted with a warm traditional welcome by our representative. Visit the revered Maa Kamakhya Temple on Nilachal Hills, one of the 108 Shakti Pithas in India. Later, proceed to Kaziranga National Park. In the evening, visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Wake up early for an Elephant Safari in the Central Range (Kohora) of Kaziranga National Park. After breakfast, return to the hotel for some relaxation. Post lunch, embark on a thrilling Jeep Safari in the Central Range (Kohora) of the park. In the evening, visit the nearby Tea Gardens. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Note: Elephant Safari costs ₹1200 per person, and Jeep Safari costs ₹3800 per jeep (maximum 6 persons), payable on the spot. Advance booking required.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Shillong, known as the Scotland of the East. En route, visit the Umium Lake, the largest man-made lake in Northeast India. Upon arrival in Shillong after approximately 5 hours, check into a city hotel. The evening is free for leisure or shopping at the famous Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, the Cleanest Village in Asia. Explore the Living Root Bridge and take in the breathtaking view from the Sky Walk.

Post lunch, drive to Dawki, the gateway to Bangladesh. Enjoy a scenic 45 km drive through deep gorges and ravines, reaching the stunning Umngot River. The river forms the natural boundary between the Jaintia Hills and Khasi Hills. Later, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, the wettest place on Earth. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours through misty pine forests. Visit some of Cherrapunji’s top attractions, including Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong, Mawsmai Caves, Rama Krishna Mission, and Eco Park. After a full day of exploration, return to Shillong. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy a Shillong city tour, visiting Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Shillong Peak, and Elephant Falls. Later, drive to Guwahati. In the evening, experience a River Cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

In the morning, visit the Maa Kamakhya Temple once again for blessings. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

  • 2 to 1 day before arrival: 90% of package cost
  • Less than 24 hours or no-show: 100% of package cost
