Begin your pilgrimage at the sacred island of Srirangam before exploring two of South India's greatest Shiva temples and the revered Guru Navagraha shrine.
Morning (7 am to 12.30 pm): Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam — the world's largest living temple and foremost of the 108 Divya Desams. Jambukeswarar Temple, Tiruvanaikaval — Pancha Bhoota Sthalam where Shiva is worshipped as water.
Afternoon (2.30 pm to 7 pm): Alangudi Guru Temple — Navagraha shrine of Jupiter (Guru). Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjavur — UNESCO World Heritage “Big Temple” of the Cholas.

Afternoon (3 pm to 7.30 pm): Airavatesvara Temple, Darasuram — UNESCO World Heritage sculptural masterpiece. Adi Kumbeswarar Temple — Kumbakonam's presiding shrine of the sacred pot. Sarangapani Temple — celebrated Divya Desam with Kumbakonam's tallest gopuram.

Afternoon (3.15 pm to 8.00 pm): Vaitheeswaran Koil — Navagraha shrine of Mars; Shiva as the Divine Physician. Thillai Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram — evening worship of the dancing Nataraja.
Night Stay: Chidambaram.
Conclude your pilgrimage at the magnificent Gangaikonda Cholapuram, the final masterpiece of the Chola Empire. Leave Chidambaram around 8 am. Gangaikonda Cholapuram Temple — UNESCO World Heritage capital of Rajendra Chola. Transfer to Trichy Airport / RS for your onward journey. You should reach by 2 pm.
