Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival

Arrival at Srinagar Airport where you will be met by our Representative/Driver. Transfer to the hotel which is already booked for you. Complete acclimatization and enjoy a leisurely evening, taking a short walk around Dal Lake. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, considered one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. On the way, stop at various scenic spots. Continue to Sonamarg, approximately 80 km and 3 hours away. Sonamarg is the starting point for the journey to Ladakh across Zojila Pass, a major pass in the Great Himalayan range, known as the Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening, return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers," located 2730 meters above sea level. The distance of 60 km will be covered in about 2 hours. Gulmarg offers delightful ski slopes and the highest 18-hole golf course in the world. Weather permitting, you can also view Nanga Parbat. The drive from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is particularly scenic. In the evening, return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Srinagar – Pahalgam – Night Stay

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds." Drive through the saffron fields and visit the Awantipora ruins of an 1100-year-old temple built by King Awantivarman. Enjoy the pine forests and drive along the Lidder River. The distance of 96 km is covered in about 3 hours. Pahalgam is also a favorite destination for Bollywood movie shootings. Sightseeing in Pahalgam and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Pahalgam – Srinagar

After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Enjoy a full-day tour of the famous Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), and Cheshma Shahi. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara Ride on Dal Lake to witness the beauty of the "Venice of the East." Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 6 Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel/houseboat and transfer to Srinagar Airport or Bus Stand for your onward journey.

I will love to revisit Kashmir in summer ei h hiatus holidays as they made our winter vist so memoriable, with so much of weather changes they gave us a best stay and transportation. The driver Salik (Read More)guided us and made us so comfortable throughout the journey, our kids had some heath issue, Salik was with us as a brother and took us to the best hospital and make our Kashmir trip so memoriable thank you. Will recommend to opt Hiatus holidays if visiting Kashmir.
