Day 1 Arrival in Kandy

Your scenic journey to Kandy includes a visit to the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll see gentle giants up close, and a stop at a vibrant zoo. En route, explore a traditional Spice Garden and enjoy a relaxing Ayurvedic head massage. In the evening, experience the rich culture of Sri Lanka through a captivating Kandy Traditional Dance Show before checking into your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
After breakfast, you'll check out from your hotel in Kandy and begin the day with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site revered by Buddhists across the world. Take in the breathtaking scenery from the Kandy View Point before heading to a local Gem Museum for an insightful, complimentary visit into Sri Lanka’s world-renowned gem industry.
Your journey continues to the cool hills of Nuwara Eliya. Along the way, stop to admire the stunning Ramboda Falls, a picturesque cascade nestled in the highlands. Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy visits to the serene Gregory Lake and the beautifully maintained Victoria Park before checking in for a relaxing overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and explore the charming town of Nuwara Eliya, often called “Little England” for its colonial architecture and cool climate. Your journey then leads you to the coastal haven of Bentota.
On arrival, enjoy a scenic Madu River boat safari, which includes a visit to the fragrant Cinnamon Island, the historic Kothduwa Temple, and a chance to gently interact with a baby crocodile. So our guide was Mr Imran, he is a very kind and soft spoken person. Very punctu (Read More)al and considerate about the tourists. He explained each and every thing and was very patient to answer our questions. His driving was great as well didn’t feel tired after long journeys. We wanted some indian food which he made sure he would find a good hotel for. Overall it was and amazing experience. The entire itinerary was very well planned by Mr Dhammika and he even made changes as per our requirements regarding places to visit and hotels. The stay was very comfortable and hotels were clean, great choice made my them. Overall the entire experience was peaceful all thanks to these 2 people and hoping to have more such trip going forward.
