Day 1 Arrival in Kandy

Your scenic journey to Kandy includes a visit to the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll see gentle giants up close, and a stop at a vibrant zoo. En route, explore a traditional Spice Garden and enjoy a relaxing Ayurvedic head massage. In the evening, experience the rich culture of Sri Lanka through a captivating Kandy Traditional Dance Show before checking into your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
After breakfast, you'll check out from your hotel in Kandy and begin the day with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site revered by Buddhists across the world. Take in the breathtaking scenery from the Kandy View Point before heading to a local Gem Museum for an insightful, complimentary visit into Sri Lanka’s world-renowned gem industry.
Your journey continues to the cool hills of Nuwara Eliya. Along the way, stop to admire the stunning Ramboda Falls, a picturesque cascade nestled in the highlands. Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy visits to the serene Gregory Lake and the beautifully maintained Victoria Park before checking in for a relaxing overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and explore the charming town of Nuwara Eliya, often called “Little England” for its colonial architecture and cool climate. Your journey then leads you to the coastal haven of Bentota.
On arrival, enjoy a scenic Madu River boat safari, which includes a visit to the fragrant Cinnamon Island, the historic Kothduwa Temple, and a chance to gently interact with a baby crocodile. You’ll also enjoy a complimentary fish therapy session. As the day winds down, take in the breathtaking sunset by Bentota Beach before checking in for an overnight stay.

Highlights include Gangaramaya Temple, the striking Red Mosque, the historic Old Parliament Building, a photo stop at the Lotus Tower, and visits to Port City, Independence Square, Viharamahadevi Park, and the charming Old Dutch Hospital. After sightseeing, check in for an overnight stay at your hotel in Colombo.

Kandy resort care taker was good. As he sont know the language, food in kandy ho (Read More)tel was not. Nothing to do with Oclave, but suggestion is pick the hotel considering the quality of food as well.

We had a 5 day customised trip in Sreelanka covering the destinations as per our (Read More) requirement. It was a great trip with our beloved driver Mr Ismath, more than a driver he’s had taken care of us in our meal preference, choice of spots we like etc.
