- Distance & Time: Approximately 115 km (3 to 3.5 hours driving)
- Meet your driver at the airport and transfer directly to the hill capital, Kandy.
- First, visit the beautiful Peradeniya Botanical Garden to see the famous orchid collection.
- Next, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic to explore the historic royal temple complex.
- Check into your hotel in Kandy and take some time to rest.
- Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Kandy city tour, driving past the scenic Kandy Lake and exploring the local marketplace.
- Watch a traditional Kandyan cultural dance show in the evening.

- Route: Kandy to Bentota
• Distance & Time: Approx. 180 km (4.5 to 5 hours driving)
• Check out of your hotel after breakfast and drive down from the hills to the coastal town of Bentota.
• Upon arriving, enjoy a peaceful mangrove Madu River boat safari.
• Visit a local sea turtle hatchery to learn about marine conservation and see the baby turtles.
• Check into your coastal hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon getting some beach relaxation.
