Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP/Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok (110 kms / 5 hours approx.)
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our driver who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Start the day with a lavish breakfast and get ready for an invigorating full-day excursion tour of Gangtok. First, visit the Tsomgo Lake and soak in the sheer beauty of this water body surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Next, seek blessings at the holy Baba Harbhajan Mandir. It is believed that the spirit of the late soldier wanders here every night guarding the borders. Nathula Pass can be added (at an additional cost of ₹4000). Toward the end of the day, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, start your journey to Pelling. En route, visit Ravangla, famous for Buddha Park and its natural environment. In the evening, check in to the Pelling hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Khecheopalri Lake, Ruins of Rabdentse, Bird Sanctuary, Orange Garden, Rimbi Waterfall, and Skywalk. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, pack your bags and complete the check-out formalities. During your journey to Darjeeling, you will visit some wonderful viewpoints. On arrival, check in to the Darjeeling hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early morning, witness the sunrise at Tiger Hill. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing in Darjeeling, including visits to the Japanese Temple, Tenzing Norgay Climbing Point, Bhutia Busty Monastery, Tea Garden Estate (view from outside), Ropeway, and Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursday). Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, your journey concludes. Board your onward destination vehicle to IXB/NJP.

  • We need the following details to process your booking:

Bring the following on arrival:
  • Copies of hotel vouchers (provided within 4-6 working days after confirming the package).
  • Original valid ID proof and four photocopies of each person.
  • Note: Valid ID proof includes Voter ID / Passport / Driving License. PAN Cards & Aadhar Cards are not acceptable. For children below 18 years, bring an Aadhar or Birth Certificate.
  • 4 passport-sized photographs of each person.
  • The remaining amount will be paid on arrival (Cash/NEFT/DD). Note: Cheques will not be accepted.
  • Essentials: Carry basic personal items, including feather jackets & heavy woolens during winter, light woolens during summer, walking boots, rainproof jackets during monsoon, torches, spare batteries, water flasks, cold cream, personal medicines & sunglasses.
  • Guests visiting Lachen and Lachung should bring heavy woolen as these areas remain cold throughout the year.
Payment
  • 40% of the total package amount must be paid in advance to confirm the package. Bookings will not be processed without advance payment.
  • The remaining payment must be cleared upon arrival, either at our office or with our representatives at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Payments can be made in cash or demand draft drawn in favor of Make My Holiday Siliguri. Cheques are not acceptable. For credit card payments, an additional 3% charge applies.
  • Please share your arrival details (train/flight number) so that we can plan the schedule accordingly.
About Transport
  • Due to limited car parking space in the Sikkim & Darjeeling region, guests must wait in the hotel lobby for the vehicle to start sightseeing/transfers.
  • Vehicles will change sector-wise; the same vehicle will not be provided for the entire tour.
  • If a tourist spot is closed on the scheduled day, visiting it on another day will incur extra vehicle charges.
  • Kindly maintain the sightseeing/transfers schedule advised by our executive.
Package Policy
  • The itinerary is a suggested tour plan. The company is responsible only for charged services. Any unpaid suggested services are not the company’s responsibility.
  • Check-in and check-out timings will be per the respective hotel’s schedule.
  • The company is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused during the tour.
  • Claims related to the package must be brought to the company’s notice within a week.
Terms & Conditions
  • No refund will be made for unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours, or any other service.
  • Room allocation depends on hotel availability at check-in. No refund will be given if hotel services do not meet expectations.
  • Any cost arising from natural calamities, road blockages, or political disturbances must be borne by the guest (payable on the spot).
Amendment
  • Amendments to the booked tour will be treated as cancellations. Minor amendments may incur a communication charge, varying case by case.


Refund Policy
  • Refunds will be processed through the original payment source. Processing may take at least 15 days and will be issued via account payee cheque.
  • No refund will be made for unused services, regardless of the reason.

I had a small kid with me so for that I paid extra money for good accommodation but they provide us rooms like match (Read More) box completely closed rooms no cross ventilation from anywhere washrooms are clogged no sanitation at all water bottles provided by the hotels are very dirty no one can drink water from that They provided such hotels where they give us tap water for drinking they had very unhygienic kitchen The kitchen was filthy and reeked of unpleasant odors It was very bad as we couldn’t eat there although staff of the hotel was nice but we are not supposed to stay there we demanded for a good stay Not only that but we experienced many difficulties also It’s pathetic terrible and traumatic experience we had

The organizers(Subhankar Rajak (Read More)and Lakshmi Roy Murmu, ) were well-prepared, friendly, and made sure every detail was covered—from accommodations to sightseeing. Special mention to our cab drivers, who were not only punctual and skilled behind the wheel but also incredibly polite and knowledgeable about all the local spots. They truly made our journey comfortable and enjoyable. This was one of the best trips I've taken, and I can confidently say it was because of the exceptional team behind it. Highly recommended.

Rude Behaviour and unsafe people

What's Good: Actually nothing.
What's Not Good: We had booked 8N 9D Sikkim Darjeeling trip from this agency. Here are the top 4 (of many other) reasons why you should avoid booking (Read More) through this agency. 1. Their executive Akash is an utterly rude person. He almost threatend us to leave us out on the last day before completing the trip. For just 100 rupees difference in the amount he expected and we paid and was also for parking which was actually included in their quotation. I have attached a screenshot of his message, apart from that he said a lot on call. He completely ruined our trip. 2. They try to push you to the lower cost options once the trip begins to maximize their profits. And if you disagree with degradation then they will charge you extra. 3. They are not transparent. They will not share actual hotel vouchers with you. Will keep saying but won't share. 4. One driver they had sent for the snow peak excursion was completely inexperienced and because of him our life was in danger. We couldn't even cover the most important points like Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir of Sikkim. Suggestion: Don't book with this agency. Opt from something standard or Gangtok based agency which would actually care for their guests.

Follow up to book tour package is good .. payment follow up is great .. hotels are good …listing intensity is very well . But Communication gap between the coordinators and drivers , Drivers not cov (Read More)ered the places what is listed in the itinerary… Drivers always thinking in their perspective .. they follow their itinerary not what listed in the Package … I am really disappointed the places that I had missed in Peeling .. Driver covered few places and took us directly to Darjeeling as he has to return early to home. He was completely drinking beer and smoking when ever we hopping…. I can understand that’s because of climate but still car smells and we can’t open windows as climate is cool and we can’t close as it’s smelling inside car … In Darzeeling the Hotel booked was in one way and it’s in up hill Drivers denied to do round about and drop at the door step we have climb 3 times that up hill and got down 3 times even at 4am in the morning ..with huge struggle and suffocation as it’s almost 70 degree enclave. Even at Darzeeling Zoo he dropped us at the zoo entrance and left to the main road as parking cost is more there …and he told us to walk all the way down almost a km to get Vehical as he can’t come up side …

Itinerary provided to was well drafted and explained before the tour started still you wanted modify things while on tour at last moment according to your own wish and prices, which was certainly impossible according to market. Our officals tried their best to give you best discount and make best arrangements but still you denied to pay the price and still wanted everything to be added. Stop spreading fake news and reviews.
