Day 1 Arrive in Bagdogra and Transfer to Darjeeling
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, where our representative will assist with your transfer to Darjeeling.
- Check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, exploring nearby markets or enjoying the cool Himalayan air.
- Darjeeling, often referred to as the "Queen of the Hills," offers breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga range and lush tea gardens.
- You can stroll around the Chowrasta Mall and try local snacks like momos and thukpa (on your own).

Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing
- Start early with a visit to Tiger Hill (4:00 AM) to witness a stunning sunrise over Kanchenjunga.
- Visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the charming Batasia Loop.

Day 3 Darjeeling – Gangtok (100 km / 4 Hours)
- Post breakfast, drive to Gangtok, the vibrant capital of Sikkim.
- Check in to your hotel and relax for the day.
- In the evening, take a stroll along MG Marg, a lively promenade perfect for families to shop and dine (By Own).
- Gangtok, nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, offers a mix of scenic beauty, modern amenities, and traditional culture.

Day 4 Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir Excursion
- Hop off to Tsomgo Lake and seek Baba Harbhajan’s blessings at the most popular temple in North Sikkim on the second day of your Gangtok-Darjeeling trip itinerary.
- Wake up to a beautiful day, enjoy a filling breakfast, and proceed for the sightseeing tour.
- Set off on your excursion to Tsomgo Lake near Gangtok.
- Known for its changing colors, Tsomgo Lake is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Gangtok.
- Further, visit the famous Baba Mandir, built in fond memory of late Major Baba Harbhajan Singh.
- Return to your hotel and end this tiring day of your Gangtok-Darjeeling holiday with a revitalizing dose of sleep.
- Distance from Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake: 40 km
- Travel time (Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake): Approx. 1.5 hours
- Optional: One can opt for a Nathula excursion by paying a supplementary cost, which varies from month to month.
- Nathula permit gets confirmed 24 hours prior to the journey date and is subject to permit availability, as it is allotted by lottery.
- Nathula is closed on Mondays.
- Organizing the permit at the last moment is not possible; a clear window of 72 hours with proper documents is required to process the permit.
- There is no refund in case the permit is confirmed by Sikkim Tourism, and due to any reason (landslide, heavy rainfall, VIP movement, health issues, etc.), one is unable to visit.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local markets or relaxing at your hotel.

Day 5 Gangtok – Lachung (120 km / 6 Hours)
- Post breakfast, drive to Lachung, a serene village known for its picturesque beauty.
- En route, visit Seven Sisters Waterfalls and Naga Waterfalls for some family-friendly stops.
- Arrive in Lachung and check in to your hotel. Spend the evening soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
- Tip: Keep binoculars handy to spot rare birds along the route.
- Meals: Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 6 Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion
- After an early breakfast, proceed to Yumthang Valley, also known as the "Valley of Flowers."
- Explore the breathtaking landscape dotted with rhododendrons (seasonal) and a scenic river.
- If weather permits, visit Zero Point (optional, at an extra cost), located at an altitude of 15,300 feet.
- Return to Lachung by evening and relax at your hotel.

Day 7 Lachung – Gangtok – Departure

Honestly, there wasn’t anything major to dislike. The overall trip was very well handled. A few minor things like slight delays at some sightseeing points due to Traffic and limited food options in a couple of locations were there, but that’s understandable given the region. The team at 3 Way Destination managed everything smoothly and ensured we were comfortable throughout.

Excellent services & Co-ordination by 3 Way Destination ( Mr. Rajat) during our one week travel to North Sikkim and Darjeeling.
Hotel and Cab arrangements are excellent.
Cab/Driver for North Sikkim terrains is best in fleet.
Definitely plan with 3Way Destination for all future travels.
Trip to Gangtok
its very bad experience with 3 way destination. i have book for 3 star hotel and provided to me the hotel which has no reception, the name of the hotel Flower Velly in gangtok is with no name plate of the hotel just in a white paper with handwritten name just in the remote area and not a single guest in the hotel.
the driver is very good and well behave the person in the hotel gangtok and Lachen (Read More)is also very nice and well behave.
Trip to Bhalukpong, Tawang, Dirang
Kudos to 3 Way destination for crafting a 6N/7D trip to Tawang at a leisurely pace. The hotels arranged were quite good and the vehicle was brand new. Had a great time. I'm sure my next few trips to other amazing destinations of the North East & Bhutan will be through them. Keep it up 3 Way Destination!!
