About Shimla :- Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. You can even stroll through the famous shopping place in Shimla town - “THE MALL & THE RIDGE.” This ample open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the neo-gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo-Tudor library building - are worth seeing. Evening, after covering all the sightseeing in Shimla, you will be dropped off at Volvo station for the onward journey to Delhi.
