Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Srinagar Arrival - Local Sight Seeing Stay

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, our driver/representative will pick you up and take you for local sightseeing in Srinagar.
Visit the famous Mughal gardens, including Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), located on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh, the larger of the two gardens, features an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace. Both gardens are built on a symmetrical plan with central waterways and fountains.
Continue to Pari Mahal, Cheshmashahi, Hazratbal Shrine, Saraswati Devi Temple, and Shankaracharya Temple.
Later, check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Srinagar – Sonmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg, passing through Kangan, Mammar, and Gagangir.
Upon arrival in Sonmarg, enjoy a 3-hour walk or horseback ride to the Thajwas Glacier (if open at the time).
After exploring Sonmarg, return to Srinagar.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Srinagar - Pahalgam – Srinagar

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. En route, cross Khanabal and the city of Anantnag. The scenic route follows the Lidder River, which flows in the opposite direction.
In Pahalgam, visit the breathtaking Betaab Valley and Aru Valley (at your own cost).
After sightseeing, return to Srinagar.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, located on the Pir Panjal Range of the Western Himalayas. Gulmarg is known as the Meadow of Flowers.
En route, pass through Tangmarg town and enjoy a scenic 14-kilometer drive to Gulmarg.
Upon arrival, enjoy a short tour and a ride on the Gondola cable car system (an 8-minute ropeway).
Descend back to Gulmarg, indulge in horse-riding, and then return to Srinagar.
Check in to the houseboat and enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Srinagar Airport Drop

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.

Awesome experience with zippy holidays! Our Kerala anniversary trip was perfectly planned and executed. The anniversary decoration on the houseboat in Alleppey was a lovely surprise! We recently booked our honeymoon trip to Singapore from Zippy Journeys. It was thoroughly planned and we had customized the itinerary according to our preferences and Zippy Journeys team was always he (Read More)lpful to enable us to make changes and be flexible with our itinerary. The hotel for us Hotel V Lavender was also good, with lots of Indian food places nearby. The hotel staff and rooms were also top notch. The tourist places that were included in our package were amazing and the transfers were included in the package and were smooth. The Zippy team and staff members were always in touch and were approachable and helpful. Gardens by the bay, Marine bay Sands observation Deck, Night Safari, Universal Studies, all the places were fantastic. The Cherry on top of the cake was the GENTING DREAM cruise to Melaka and back, with Balcony Stateroom, it was just awesome. Last but not the least, the price of the package was also quite reasonable and the Zippy Journeys owner and staff and very helpful and professionally competent. Thanks to Zippy Journeys for a trip to remember, would definitely recommend and book future trips with them. I have attached some pics as well of the beautiful trip.
