Detailed Itinerary
- Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, our driver/representative will pick you up and take you for local sightseeing in Srinagar.
- Visit the famous Mughal gardens, including Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), located on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh, the larger of the two gardens, features an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace. Both gardens are built on a symmetrical plan with central waterways and fountains.
- Continue to Pari Mahal, Cheshmashahi, Hazratbal Shrine, Saraswati Devi Temple, and Shankaracharya Temple.
- Later, check in to the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay.
- After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg, passing through Kangan, Mammar, and Gagangir.
- Upon arrival in Sonmarg, enjoy a 3-hour walk or horseback ride to the Thajwas Glacier (if open at the time).
- After exploring Sonmarg, return to Srinagar.
- Dinner and overnight stay.
- After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. En route, cross Khanabal and the city of Anantnag. The scenic route follows the Lidder River, which flows in the opposite direction.
- In Pahalgam, visit the breathtaking Betaab Valley and Aru Valley (at your own cost).
- After sightseeing, return to Srinagar.
- Dinner and overnight stay.
- After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, located on the Pir Panjal Range of the Western Himalayas. Gulmarg is known as the Meadow of Flowers.
- En route, pass through Tangmarg town and enjoy a scenic 14-kilometer drive to Gulmarg.
- Upon arrival, enjoy a short tour and a ride on the Gondola cable car system (an 8-minute ropeway).
- Descend back to Gulmarg, indulge in horse-riding, and then return to Srinagar.
- Check in to the houseboat and enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
- Dinner and overnight stay.
- After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
