Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing
- Upon your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle.
- The drive from the airport takes approximately 35 minutes through the heart of New Srinagar city.
- During the drive, you will pass the Abdullah Bridge, which connects the banks of the Jehlum River, snaking its way towards the northwestern frontier of Kashmir.
- Later, visit the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar.
- These gardens were built over a period of 14 years and are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, known for their exquisite gardens.
- With a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan Mountains, the gardens feature green turfs, blooming flowers, and cascading water fountains.
- We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Srinagar to Sonmarg
- We begin our second day with a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg.
- The route to Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque countryside drive, where we will encounter rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams, and blooming rice fields.
- We will pass through the town of Kangan, which caters to the local needs of this region.
- From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm, and stop for a warm cup of tea before heading to Sonamarg.
- We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir, which is situated in the middle of the Sindh River and resembles an island with snow glaciers covering various spots.
- In Sonamarg, we will take a 3-hour walk or horseback ride to the Thajwass Glacier.
- After our return, we will visit the small town market for some snacks or simply observe the local people going about their daily routines.
- We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the hotel for our overnight stay.
Day 3 Srinagar to Gulmarg
- After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg.
- The drive past colorful villages and rice fields provides insight into the rich cultural history of Kashmir.
- We will arrive at the small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and continue on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg.
- We will arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check in at the hotel.
- Later, we will begin a short tour around the meadow, familiarizing ourselves with the beauty of the area.
- In Gulmarg, we will board the Gondola cable car system and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range.
- The 8-minute ropeway ride will take you past colorful shepherd huts to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak.
- From here, you can take many photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of the Kashmir valley.
- We will descend back to the Gulmarg base after about an hour and later enjoy some horse riding to the Strawberry Valley.
- We will stay overnight at the houseboat.
Day 4 Srinagar to Pahalgam
- We will begin our trip towards Pahalgam and drive on the National Highway.
- This road connects the Valley to the rest of the country.
- We drive past the saffron fields of Pampore, the marvelous ruins of Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, which is famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir.
- You can sample a few exotic breads sold by vendors near the road.
- We switch to the national highway at Khanabal and drive through Anantnag, the second largest city.
- From here, the road becomes scenic as we drive parallel to the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction.
- In Pahalgam, we check in at the hotel and later enjoy some nature walks to unwind.
- You can also opt to spend half a day sightseeing by driving to the picturesque Chandanwari and Betaab Valley or riding horseback across the wildlife sanctuary towards Baisaran meadows.
- After your return from the beautiful meadows, you will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 5 Srinagar Drop
- Early in the morning, right after breakfast, you will be transferred to your waiting vehicle.
- You will travel onboard to the airport for your flight home.

- CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
- In the event of a cancellation, BVL must be informed in writing in advance.
- Cancellation will be effective only on the date and time of receipt of the cancellation letter.
- The following cancellation charges shall apply based on the period of cancellation:
- Once the booking is confirmed and the advance is paid, a minimum of 10% of the package cost will be deducted.
- If the service date is postponed or advanced more than 30 days prior, only 5% of the package cost will be deducted, and the cost for the desired date will be calculated based on the hotel and transportation costs for that specific period.
- For cancellations made 30 days before the service starts, 20% of the total package cost will be deducted.
- For cancellations made between 29 days and 15 days before the service, 40% of the total cost will be deducted.
- For cancellations made between 14 days and 10 days before the service, 50% of the total cost will be deducted.
- For cancellations made between 9 days and 6 days before the service, 60% of the total cost will be deducted.
- For cancellations made between 5 days and 48 hours before the service, 90% of the total cost will be deducted.
- For cancellations made within 48 hours to the day of service, 100% of the total cost will be deducted.
- In the case of a NO SHOW, 100% of the total cost will be deducted.

The stays were very pretty, cozy and comfortable, and added so much charm to our trip.
Kashmir is truly magical, with breathtaking landscapes and beautiful peaceful surroundings everywhere. The views, especially around Gurez, were absolutely stunning and unforgettable.
Overall, everything was well planned and smoothly managed, and we had a really memorable experience. Just a small suggestion, please don’t take it the wrong way — the complimentary Shikara ride could have been a little better. The ride felt quite slow with frequent stops, so perhaps connecting with more experienced Shikara operators could make the experience even more enjoyable. 😊
