Day 1 Arrival - Dambulla
Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Chilaw. Begin your spiritual journey by visiting the Munneshwaram Temple, an ancient Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva and believed to have been visited by King Rama to atone for the sin of Brahmahast. Continue to Manavari Temple, where Lord Rama is said to have installed the first Shiva Lingam. After these significant visits, proceed to Dambulla for your overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to the historical coastal city of Trincomalee. Visit the majestic Thirukonneshwaram Temple, constructed on a cliff with panoramic views, believed to have been built by Sage Agastya under Lord Shiva’s guidance. Then explore Sri Shankari Devi Shakthi Peedam, one of the 18 Shakti Peethams, originally constructed by Ravana. Later, visit the Kanniyai Hot Wells, believed to have been created by King Ravana with his trident. These springs are reputed to have healing properties. Overnight stay in Trincomalee.
Proceed to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which houses one of the most revered Buddhist relics – the tooth of Lord Buddha. Explore a local Gem Gallery where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s famous gemstones. In the evening, witness the vibrant Kandy Cultural Show, which features traditional dance and drumming. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Depart for Nuwara Eliya, often called "Little England" for its cool climate and colonial charm. En route, visit Ramboda Falls and the Ramboda Anjaneyar Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman and associated with the Ramayana. Surrounded by misty hills and tea plantations, Nuwara Eliya offers a refreshing contrast to the tropical lowlands. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Start your day with a visit to the Seetha Amman Temple, believed to be the location where Sita was held captive by Ravana. The nearby stream bears footprints believed to be those of Hanuman. Later, journey to Ella, a scenic hill town famed for its lush greenery and waterfalls. Visit Ravana Falls, Ravana Caves, and Divurumpola – the legendary site where Sita underwent her Agni Pariksha (fire test). Return to Nuwara Eliya for the night.
Travel to Colombo, stopping en route to admire the spectacular St. Clair’s Falls and Devon Falls. In Colombo, explore the city’s colonial landmarks including Fort, Sea Street, the Dutch Church, BMICH, and Independence Square. Spend time shopping at ODEL, a popular spot for local and branded products. Overnight stay in Colombo.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your return journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of your spiritual and scenic tour of Sri Lanka.

So our guide was Mr Imran, he is a very kind and soft spoken person. Very punctu (Read More)al and considerate about the tourists. He explained each and every thing and was very patient to answer our questions. His driving was great as well didn’t feel tired after long journeys. We wanted some indian food which he made sure he would find a good hotel for. Overall it was and amazing experience. The entire itinerary was very well planned by Mr Dhammika and he even made changes as per our requirements regarding places to visit and hotels. The stay was very comfortable and hotels were clean, great choice made my them. Overall the entire experience was peaceful all thanks to these 2 people and hoping to have more such trip going forward.
