Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Darjeeling
  • Meet and greet with representatives upon arrival at NJP railway station, IXB airport, Gangtok, or Kalimpong.
  • Transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft).
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
  • In the early morning (at 04:00 am), drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft, the world's third highest peak).
  • On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
  • After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple (open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm).
  • The evening is free for shopping or leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Depart for NJP railway station, IXB airport, Gangtok, or Kalimpong for your onward journey.
