On arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet and greet by our representative.Transfer to your pre-booked hotel / houseboat and check in. After some rest, proceed for local sightseeing of Srinagar:Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love).Visit Chashme Shahi, the royal spring garden.Visit the Shankaracharya Temple located on a hilltop offering panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake.Later, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake (optional) and witness the beauty of floating gardens & houseboats. Return back to the hotel / houseboat in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar( Hotel THE HERMITAGE )
Morning after breakfast and then you will proceed for a day trip to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Continue drive to Sonmarg the total distance of 79.4 kms will be covered in 2.5 hours. Sonamarg is also the takeoff station for the drive to ladakh across the Zojila, a major pass in the great Himalayan range, After some rest, visit Thajiwas Glacier (by pony ride or walk). You can also enjoy activities like sledging or photography near the glacier. Explore local spots or visit Zero Point / Zojila Pass (if road is open — extra vehicle required).
