Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati to Shillong - Transfer

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs. Welcome to Awesome Assam. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station. Proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East'. Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, proceed to the local sightseeing area of Shillong. Visit:

  • Laitlum Canyons
  • Don Bosco Center for Indigenous Cultures
  • Ward's Lake (Tuesday Closed)
  • Cathedral Catholic Church
  • Lady Hydari Park (Monday Closed)
  • Golf Course (Sunday Closed)

Overnight in Shillong.

Morning after breakfast, transfer to Dawki via Mawlynnong. Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India, situated 90 kms from Shillong. Dawki lies 2 kms from Bangladesh and is known for the Umngot River. Later, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Approx Distance: 60 Km • Est. Travel Time: 2 hrs 20 mins. After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way, enjoy the following places: Shillong Peak, Elephanta Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, and Seven Sister Waterfalls. After sightseeing, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

After breakfast, prepare for a half-day trek to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep inside the jungle. The trek will take 3 to 4 hours (depending on physical fitness). Return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Approx Distance: 150 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hrs. After breakfast, visit the Garden of Caves and drive to Guwahati Hotel. In the evening, enjoy the Brahmaputra River Cruise at an additional cost. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

After breakfast, you will be dropped at the Airport or Railway Station. If time permits, visit Kamakhya Temple, which remains open for devotees from 08:00 am to 01:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

  • A credit note will be issued for the cancelled reservation; neither client nor agent accounts will get refunds.
  • Cancellation has to be sent to us by email and phone/WhatsApp.
  • From the date of booking - 30 days only communication charges of Rs. 1000.00 per person or 5% of the total amount + 18% GST, whichever is lower.
  • 30-15 days prior to departure: 25% of tour cost
  • 14-7 days prior to departure: 50% of tour cost
  • Less than 7 days prior to departure/no show: 100% of tour cost
  • No refund would be offered on sightseeing, boat tickets, entry fees, and show tickets during peak seasons.
  • In case guests cannot travel due to hospitalizations, death of any family member, or any unavoidable situations, they can postpone their trip as per hotel and cruise policy, but reschedule charges will be applicable.
  • No refund for bookings made within peak seasons or non-refundable hotel bookings.
  • In case of unexpected bad weather conditions or unavoidable circumstances, alternative accommodation will be provided at a convenient location, and additional night accommodation charges will be on a direct payment basis.

the driver as best. He had accompanied very ell. He knew his limits and adjusted (Read More) very ell to our likes and changes in the plans. Very Supportive staffs from hill dheko.
The hospitality at La Castle hotel as bad. The manager Mr. Sharma's attitude wa (Read More)s not at all approachable. The way he spoke changed entirely once we refused to have dinner from the hotel. and even the rooms smelt bad. first day we were allotted good room which was actually promised. The second day the room as cramped and also the both the days the washroom stink a lot and on the second day the washroom as very small. And the worst part was they charged us for the food in the morning although it was said that it would be complimentary. just 1 plate extra, he charged us. Overall at La Castle , we were disappointed. Please dont here after provide La Castle as option.

Trip has been planeed well.. itinerary has also been chosen in a well organised (Read More)manner. The trip coordinator like mina ji ans rajendra balmiki were so cooperative and they have taken care all the things in very well manner. Delighted to have a trip with them..
1 resort 100waterfall camp was not so good and the food served there was worst a (Read More)nd service was also pathetically bad.. so avoid booking this property.. otherwise all are good and polo tower was excellent. Smokey mae fi was also good.. So travelleasy chosen the best for us. And we are looking forward to book with them again for our arunachal trip
