Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu by Air
Arrival: Upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
If Time Permits: Evening walk around Thamel.
Distance: Thamel is centrally located, and its vibrant streets are ideal for a stroll. They are lined with shops, cafes, and local handicrafts.
Overnight: Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu City Tour-By Car
Breakfast: 07:00 AM to 08:00 AM
Pashupatinath Temple: 5 km from Thamel (15–20 minutes drive). The most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Shiva, set along the Bagmati River. A UNESCO World Heritage site.
Guhyeshwari Temple: This revered Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati is near Pashupatinath Temple. Pilgrims visit it alongside Pashupatinath.
Boudhanath Stupa: 3 km from Pashupatinath (10–15 minutes drive). The largest stupa in Nepal and an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists.
Budhanilkantha Temple: 9 km from Boudhanath (30 minutes drive). Known for its large reclining Vishnu statue, significant to Hindu devotees.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is 7 km from Budhanilkantha (20–25 minutes' drive). It is a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards that reflect Nepal’s rich history and architecture.
Overnight: Kathmandu
Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara By Sofa Deluxe Bus
Pack Breakfast: Provided for the journey.
Morning Departure: Report at Sorakhutte Tourist Bus Station at 6:30 AM, a short walk from Thamel.
Departure Time: 7:00 AM.
Journey: Approximately 200 km, taking 6-7 hours. The scenic drive offers views of rivers, terraced hills, and small roadside villages.
Arrival in Pokhara: Late afternoon.
Overnight: Pokhara.
Day 4 Sarangkot Sunrise and Pokhara City Tour By Car
Early Morning: Depart from the hotel at 5:30 AM for Sarangkot (12 km from Pokhara; 30 minutes drive).
Highlight: Stunning sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.
Return to Hotel: Breakfast at the hotel.
Pokhara City Tour (Starting around 10:00 AM):
Bindabasini Temple: 5 km from central Pokhara. A sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati with beautiful views over the city.
Seti River Gorge: A unique gorge carved by the Seti River showcasing Pokhara's natural wonders.
Davis Fall: 2 km from Seti River Gorge. A famous waterfall where the river disappears into a tunnel creates a fascinating natural feature.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: Located opposite Davis Fall. A sacred cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva with interesting limestone formations.
Drop-off at Lakeside: Free time to enjoy Lakeside for personal activities like boating on Fewa Lake or paragliding (optional, pre-booking recommended).
Overnight: Pokhara.
Day 5 Drive to Chitwan By Sofa Deluxe Bus
Pack Breakfast: Provided for the journey.
Morning Report: Arrive at Pokhara Tourist Bus Station (Lakeside) by 6:30 AM.
Departure: 7:00 AM.
Journey: 170 km, around 6-7 hours drive to Sauraha, Chitwan.
Arrival: The bus will arrive in the Sauraha area of Chitwan in the evening. Take a walk to the hotel.
Overnight: Sauraha, Chitwan.
Day 6 Return to Kathmandu by Sofa Deluxe Bus
Pack Breakfast: Provided for the journey.
Morning Report: Arrive at Pokhara Tourist Bus Station (Lakeside) by 7:00 AM.
Departure: 7:30 AM.
Journey: 175 km, around a 6-hour drive back to Kathmandu.
Arrival: The bus will arrive in the Balaju area of Kathmandu in the evening. Take a taxi to your hotel.
Overnight: Kathmandu.
Day 7 Airport Transfer by Car
Optional: If time permits, shop around the local market.
Departure: You must reach the airport 3 hours before your flight time.
