Day 1 Arrival in NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Transfer to Gangtok

  • Transfer to Gangtok (5412 Ft / 1650 Mts, 130 Kms / 4 to 5 Hrs).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Gangtok.
  • Early morning breakfast.
  • Drive to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake (48 Kms / 2 Hrs), a sacred glacial lake.
  • Visit Baba Mandir, a famous pilgrimage site.

I recently went on a North Sikkim trip organized by Trip Rising and it was a fantastic experience. The itinerary was well-planned, covering beautiful spots with enough time to enjoy each location.
