Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi to Shimla

Upon arrival at Delhi station, our executive will welcome you warmly.
Your wonderful vacation in Himachal begins in Shimla.
Upon arrival in Shimla, check into the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Shimla is renowned as the Queen of Hills due to its mesmerizing scenery and colonial heritage, having retained its charm since the time of British India.

Day 2 Shimla to Sangla

Start your journey from Shimla towards Sangla via Narkanda and Karcham, the prettiest valley in Himachal.
Arrive in Sangla by evening and check in to your hotel.
In the evening, explore the area on your own.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Sangla to Chitkul to Kalpa to Nako

Enjoy a healthy breakfast at the Sangla hotel.
Check out from the Sangla hotel.
Travel to Chitkul and Kalpa.
Chitkul is the last inhabited village situated near the Indo-Tibet border, located 20 km from Sangla.
This village lies on the right bank of the River Baspa.
The most popular attraction in this village is the temple of the local goddess, 'Chitkul Maathi', also known as 'Mata Devi'.
In the evening, en route to Kalpa, visit the District Headquarters of Kinnaur.
Kalpa was known as Chini in the past when it served as the Regional Capital.
Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years.
Every corner of Kalpa faces Jorkanden and the Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva.
Next to it is a 79-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivalinga, which changes color throughout the day and is visible to the naked eye on a clear day.
In the evening, visit the Buddhist Gompa, Hu Bu LAN Kar.
Afterwards, proceed to Nako, check in to the hotel, and enjoy dinner.
Overnight stay at the hotel or camp.

Day 4 Nako to Tabo to Kaza

Enjoy a healthy breakfast at Nako's hotel.
Check out from the hotel in Nako.
Travel to Tabo and then to Kaza.
Visit Tabo Monastery, constructed in 996 AD, which is known as Chogs-Khor ('Doctrinal Circle' or 'Doctrinal Enclave') in the Tibetan Buddhist world.
The monastery complex includes 9 temples, 23 chortens, a monk's chamber, and a nun's chamber.
Explore a large collection of scriptures, pieces of art, wall paintings, and stucco within the monastery.
En route, visit Dhankar Gompa, the traditional capital of Spiti, located on a hilltop.
Currently, more than 160 lamas reside at Dhankar Gompa.
The main attraction is a statue of Dhyan Buddha, featuring four complete figures of Buddha sitting back to back, in this monastery that is over 7 centuries old.
Arrive in Kaza and check in to your hotel.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Kaza Local Sightseeing

Enjoy a healthy breakfast at Kaza's hotel.
Today, you will embark on a day tour of Kaza's local sights.
Visit Ki Monastery and Gete Village, known for being the highest motorable road in the world.
Explore Kibber Village, home to an ancient monastery believed to be built on the site of an extinct volcano.
The Gompa situated above the village is one of the best-preserved in the region.
On the return journey to Kaza, enjoy excellent views of Damul Village.
After crossing the pass, you will reach Chandertaal Lake by afternoon.
Take in the scenic views of the lake until evening.
Have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 Kunzum Pass - Chandertal

Enjoy a healthy breakfast at Kaza's hotel.
Check out from the hotel in Kaza.
Travel to Chandertaal.
Proceed towards Kunzum Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the Kunzum range, at an altitude of 4,551 meters.
Kunzum Pass serves as the entrance to the Spiti Valley from Lahaul.
A temple dedicated to Goddess Kunzum (Durga/Parvati) is located at the top of Kunzum Pass, where she guards the pass and wards off evil.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 7 Chandertal To Manali

Enjoy a healthy breakfast at the Chandertaal hotel.
Check out from the hotel in Manali.
Travel towards Manali, stopping at the following attractions along the way:

Rohtang Pass
Rani Nala
Marhi
Waterfalls
Gulaba
Kothi
Palchan
Nehru Kund

Arrive in Manali, where a drop-off will be provided.

Day 8 Manali Departure

Enjoy a healthy breakfast at the hotel in Manali.
Today, you will be traveling to Delhi for your departure.
Take with you wonderful and precious memories from the trip.

I recently completed the full Spiti Valley circuit with Trip Hosters, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
