Day 1 Arrive at Bagdogra/NJP - Gangtok
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, meet our representative who will assist you for your transfer to Gangtok. Located at an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the capital of Sikkim in the mid-19th century and has evolved into a lively town rich in Buddhist culture and natural beauty. Surrounded by monasteries, orchid gardens, and panoramic views, Gangtok is a perfect blend of serenity and vibrance. Check in and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day excursion to the stunning Changu Lake, situated 35 kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 ft. The lake is fed by melting snow and revered by locals, with legends suggesting lamas could predict the future by observing its changing colours. Later, visit the nearby New Baba Mandir, a shrine built in memory of a soldier. Return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic journey to Lachung, a picturesque mountain village in North Sikkim. En route, drive past remote hamlets, cascading waterfalls, and forested valleys that offer stunning views of the Eastern Himalayas. Upon arrival in Lachung, check in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Post breakfast, head out for a half-day excursion to the breathtaking Yumthang Valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers.” This high-altitude pastureland comes alive with rhododendrons, primulas, and various alpine flowers in spring, while in winter it's covered in snow. Surrounded by mountains and home to grazing yaks, Yumthang offers a serene experience. Return to Lachung by afternoon. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Gangtok. The route takes you again through pristine Himalayan terrain, giving you more time to soak in the dramatic landscapes of North Sikkim. Arrive in Gangtok by late evening. Check in and unwind. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Sikkim.

The trip was very well organized and offered great value for money. Anuradha Ma' (Read More)am provided a reasonable package and managed everything professionally. Our driver-cum-guide Chandan was excellent, friendly, punctual, and guided us throughout the trip. The sightseeing, transportation, and overall experience in Sikkim, Gangtok, and Darjeeling were wonderful.
Hotel selection could be improved, as online ratings are not always reliable and (Read More) may sometimes be misleading. Verifying hotels based on actual recent guest experiences would help ensure a more comfortable stay. Other than that, the trip was well planned and enjoyable.
