Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Bangalore
  • Upon arrival at Bangalore Airport or Railway Station, our representatives will assist you with your transfer to Coorg, which is approximately a 4-hour drive.
  • Welcome to The Scotland of India, one of the most beautiful hill stations in Karnataka.
  • Check in at the hotel upon arrival to rest.
  • You will have the rest of the evening free to explore the area or relax in your room before your overnight stay in Coorg.
  • Dubare Elephant Camp
  • Elephant bathing and interaction (a family favorite) - entry ticket is extra.
  • Breakfast, then proceed to Tala Kaveri, the origin of the river Cauvery, located on the eastern slopes of Brahmagiri peak at an altitude of 1,350 meters. Trekking in the Brahmagiri hills offers breathtaking views of the hill ranges and is excellent for photography. The steps leading up the hills are steep but climbable.
  • Later, visit Bhagamandala, situated at the confluence of two rivers, the Cauvery and the Kanika. A third river, the Sujyothi, is said to join from underground. Visit the temple dedicated to Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva) and receive the blessings of the lord.
  • Coffee Estate Walk + Tasting Experience
  • Post-lunch, visit Abbey Falls, located 8 km from Madikeri town. Abbey Falls is situated amidst coffee plantations and spice estates. It is one of the best waterfalls in the Coorg region, cascading down rocky slopes from a height of 70 feet into a pool. A hanging bridge has been built across the gorge, providing visitors with a beautiful view of the falls. A Kali Mata temple on the other side of the bridge is also worth visiting. The path leading to the waterfalls is filled with thick vegetation, offering a wonderful experience (for those who did not visit the previous day).
  • Madikeri Fort (closed on Mondays) - Preserving its old charm, Madikeri Fort is one of the most famous historical landmarks located in Coorg. An excellent example of spectacular architectural design and construction styles, the fort also houses the Madikeri Fort Museum and the Kote Maha Ganapathi Temple. The elevated structures of the fort provide panoramic views of the town, which are undoubtedly breathtaking and beautiful.
  • Sri Omkareshwar Temple - The Omkareshwara Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated in the town of Madikeri. The specialty of the temple is its construction, which reflects a mix of Gothic and Islamic styles.
  • Raja's Seat - The Raja's Seat, meaning the "Seat of Kings," is a brick and mortar structure with four pillars. It is a popular viewpoint located within a splendid garden of seasonal flowers and musical fountains. The best times to visit Raja's Seat are during the early morning and evening hours to witness breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. There is also a toy train attraction for children to enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains.

Enjoy long, peaceful walks through the lush greenery and vibrant flowers, as well as opportunities for boating and photography.
  • Lamb's Rock - Situated on the way to Dolphin's Nose in Ooty, Lamb's Rock, also known as Echo Rock, is a popular picnic spot that offers an admirable view of the Coimbatore Plains and the surrounding lush greenery. The route to this location provides trekking opportunities as well.
  • Dolphin's Nose - Located 10 km from Coonoor, Dolphin's Nose is a peak that offers enchanting views of the Nilgiri Hills and Catherine Falls. The peak resembles the nose of a dolphin, hence its name.
  • Botanical Garden - A vast expanse of lawn resembling a golf course, sloping steeply uphill with a variety of trees and shrubs, as well as some conservatories housing exotic ferns and flowering plants. The highlight of this park is the fossilized tree from the prehistoric era, preserved as a natural exhibit. According to carbon dating, it is approximately 20 million years old.
  • Rose Garden - The largest rose garden in India, showcasing more than 20,000 varieties of roses collected from different parts of the world. Unusual colors, including black and green roses, can also be found. Enjoy a spectacular view of the entire Ooty from the Rose Garden.
