Trip to Jammu and Kashmir

I liked that this was a budget package with almost all the places covered. The driver was friendly and the drive was a calm and peaceful one. Enjoyed Kashmir and got the blessings from Vaishnavi devi temple in Jammu. The driver was on time, the agent did her best to compensate for any difficulties and managed it for the best of us. They remained professional in their service and made the trip smoo (Read More)th. The Houseboat stay in Best View Resort was really refreshing and calming experience. The interior designs of the houseboat were beautiful. The rooms were all comfortable.
We have elderly people in our group and they didn't like the idea of horse riding or ATV, so if the driver or the agent conversed that there won't be Union cab services in this area we could have avoided that in first place and would have chosen a different place. We went to Dachingam national park on a Tuesday, but it was closed usually on Tuesdays, which should have been informed by agent or the (Read More) driver, but they said they don't know. The hotel Lone palace was comfortable inside but the actual location is inside multiple small roads, which gave a slight discomfort. Our group had half of them who were lactose intolerant, but even after mentioning that multiple times to the agent or the hotel they didn't provide any alternative. One time they said they gave Mixed sabji, but when we saw it had paneer mixed with it. So some of our group had bad experience regarding food. I get that it's difficulty to take care of food for a small group when they have multiple tourists in their hand and also being a budget trip,we didn't expect much. Also Simply mentioning union cabs are exclusions is a vague statement, it would be better if they give a detailed report of where and what services will be provided and the usual local cost there. When we arrived on Srinagar airport, 3 people who were with the driver started taking our luggage trolley and said they will take it to the van, we thought it was from travels, but they were porters who take the luggage and pack and ask money later, it would have been better if the driver warned something about it, they also demanded extra money even after paying 100rs for the short distance they pushed the trolley. Since I am the only guy with half known hindi we managed the trip, it would be better if there are drivers who speak English, that would have made the trip better. For the Vaishnavi devi temple trip we booked helicopter ride which was not available for all of us, so some of us planned to go by horse and battery car, but the agent never mentioned that it should be booked in online, so we were made to walk the remaining distance. They said they can't provide room for the day we were in temple and said it will be available offline when you reach there , but they were all filled, it would have been better if they gave some residence or bhawan number so that we can contact and book them in advance

Trip to Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir

Had a really good experience with Lone Tours and Travels. Everything was very clear from the start and they delivered exactly what they promised, which made the trip smooth and stress-free. Heena, the tour coordinator, was very helpful throughout. She was always reachable and even managed to get us Gondola tickets at the last minute, which was a big help. Our driver and guide Rizwan was also grea (Read More)t, very polite, punctual, and made the journeys comfortable. What I liked the most was that they kept checking in during the trip to make sure everything was going well. Also, they weren’t pushy about money at all. Overall, a solid experience. Would definitely recommend them.
