Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati to Shillong

On arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, receive a warm welcome.
Drive to Shillong, known as the 'Scotland of the East.'
En route, visit Umiam Lake (Barapani), surrounded by scenic Khasi hills. Enjoy the serene beauty and optional boating.
Upon arrival in Shillong, check in at the hotel.
In the evening, explore the famous Police Bazar.
Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong to Cherrapunji

After breakfast, drive towards Cherrapunji, enjoying lush green mountains and waterfalls along the way.
En route, visit Shillong Peak for panoramic views and Elephant Falls, known for its unique rock formations.
Upon arrival in Cherrapunji, visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint, Seven Sisters Falls, and Eco Park.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 3 Cherrapunji Excursion – Trek to Double Decker Root Bridge

Early morning (5 AM), embark on an optional trek to the famous Double Decker Root Bridge, a natural wonder deep in the forests of Meghalaya.
The trek involves a 3,000-step descent starting from Tyrna Village (10 km from Cherrapunji) and takes approximately 5-6 hours (both ways).
After returning, have lunch and visit Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall.
Explore Mawsmai Cave, Nohsngithiang Falls, and Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 4 Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

Early morning, drive to Mawlynnong, awarded the title of 'Cleanest Village in Asia' (2003).
Visit the Living Root Bridge and Bamboo Bridge.
Continue to Dawki, a picturesque town on the Bangladesh border.
Enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River, one of the cleanest rivers in India.
Return to Shillong in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Shillong Sightseeing & Transfer to Guwahati

After breakfast, explore Shillong’s attractions, including Lady Hydari Park and Ward’s Lake.
En route to Guwahati, stop at Beadon Bishop Viewpoint for scenic vistas.
Upon arrival in Guwahati, visit Kamakhya Temple and Umananda Temple (if time permits).
Drop-off at the Railway Station/Airport for departure.
Tour concludes with unforgettable memories.

Overall experience waas very good however the driver cum guide role can be improved as he was not having the itinerary and asking what is our next location.

A guide should be there or driver should have good knowledge about the places

We had a wonderful experience with Meet N Greet Travels, It was beautifully planned and Organized by Agent Shubham. The Class part was the Resorts which were booked, staff was efficient in the Resorts, ambience was great. I had booked trip for 10 days travel in Gujarat for my family and the trip was excellent. Subham was coordinator was very helpful and took care of my family. • Trip to Diu, Somnath, Dwarka, Kutch (Kachchh), Sasan Gir Wildlife Sanctuary

I had booked complete Gujarat tour package for my family in Nov 24. We had a great experience with "Meet N Greet" Team. They take their business quite seriously and personally....which was evident fro (Read More)m their communication and services. Their team was prompt and quick in addressing our queries and resolving our problems (if any). The pricings they offer are quite better than other big players in the market with the same set of services. The best part of this team was that they were able to understand my requirements and customize my itinerary accordingly. The associations they have with transport services need to be more filtered. We faced small issues because of the driver, which couldn't get addressed because of miscommunication between us and the team. However, i firmly believe that it would have been resolved if communicated properly and timely. Additionally, accommodation in Diu was below average, but at other places it was good (as promised in the itinerary) I would suggest the team to be very selective while associating with ur transport partners especially when ur tourists are senior citizens.

We four took a trip of Dwaraka ,Somnath and Rajkot with Meet and greet ,our coordinator for the tour was Mr Shubham , I have to mention here that he is most cooperative and used to be avail (Read More)able at all hours the day for our help The hotels provided for our trip were excellent, the food was hygienic and tasty. A special mention has tobe made of our Chauffeurs' who were also very courteous and took us to all the places without being grumpy. They were Kripal and Siddaraj hats off to them very safe and helpful. through Meet&greet from We had a very eyeful darshan of all Temples.we enjoyed the Sea water withdrawal and coming off of Nishkalank Mahadev. The visit to Dwarka and Bhat Dwaraka ,Nageshwar enjoyed the darshan Max. Somnath darshan was unbelievable.
