Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Manali

Upon arrival, transfer to the pre-booked hotel in Manali. After freshening up, spend half a day at leisure. At 3:00 PM, proceed for local sightseeing, visiting:
Hadimba Devi Temple: A key attraction in Manali, dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bheema from the Mahabharata. This wooden temple, located amidst magnificent deodar forests, was built in 1553 A.D. and is about 2.5 km from the Mall.
Tibetan Monastery (0.5 km): Built in 1969, this monastery showcases Tibetan artistry and sells handmade carpets and handicrafts.
Club House (2 km from Mall): Known for activities like skating, a discotheque, and an auditorium.
Later in the evening, explore Manali's shopping hubs, including Mall Road and IBEX Market. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Solang Valley, located 13 km from Manali in the Kullu Valley. It is a picturesque destination offering views of glaciers and snow-capped peaks. Solang Valley is famous for its ski slopes and adventure activities, including skiing, paragliding, zorbing, horse riding, and snow motorbike rides.
The Mountaineering Institute of Manali operates a ski lift here for training purposes. The valley also hosts the Winter Skiing Festival.
Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Kullu for sightseeing. Highlights include:

  • Hot Sulphur Springs: Revered by both Hindus and Sikhs, these springs are said to have radioactive properties that can cure skin ailments.
  • Angora Rabbit Farm: Located 8 km from Kullu, this farm is known for Angora shawls, available at reasonable rates.
  • Kullu Shawl Factory: Explore traditional shawls and handicrafts.

Enjoy water rafting at Babeli in Kullu (optional).
Return to Manali in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the Volvo stand for your journey back.

Please Note Manali 
Rohtang Pass Up to Barrier Point (The point where the vehicle will stop by the Police /BRO in winter due to heavy snowfall & other natural calamities). Rohtang pass is closed every Tuesday, and visiting months will depend on the government notice. In winter, the Vehicle will stop by the Police Barrier/ Traffic Jam Queue. Since the NGT (National Green Tribunal) allows only limited vehicles to Rohtang pass per day, sightseeing on the Rohtang pass will be subject to permit availability on the spot. Also, the cab services (including permission charges) will cost extra depending on the vehicle opted on a sharing basis / individual basis by the customer.

It was an 9 day trip to shimla manali dharamsala and dalhousie. It was an amazin (Read More)g experience over-all everything happened very smoothly. The driver, Sumit bhaiya was very patient and respectful he was very punctual and felt safe to travel with. Our travel advisor, Swara was always available for us and made sure that nothing went wrong. It was an all girls trip so it was a safety concern but everything went really well. Hotels were posh and clean with an amazing balcony view the budget was also very reasonable. Everything was almost too perfect to be true!
We weren't informed about the kufri sightseeing charges that may add up and also (Read More) the condition of solang valley before the trip, it may have been very normal for the people there but we are not from that side of the country so we were expecting a full information handout before. But later on it was managed well by the driver and Swara ma'am. The hotel in dharamshala was not upto the mark, the staff over there was a little creepy and we had paid for a deluxe room with balcony for the view but the room was very small and the toilet was very dirty. Otherwise all hotels were nice and the ambience were also great. The food at jde mountain, dalhousie was not good at all we literally ate domino's for those 2 days

Driver – Extremely professional, polite, and sincere throughout the trip. Owner/Organizer – Very cooperative and responsive. Hotel – Comfortable stay with good facilities. The hotel was clean, and the food quality was good, which made the stay pleasant. The cab arrangements were also well-coordinated for most parts of the journey. There were a couple of minor issues. We experienced about a 1-hour power failure at the hotel, and at one location, the cab didn’t have the required permit to enter, which led to around an hour of waiting. These didn’t ruin the trip but could definitely be improved. Overall, a well-managed trip with good service. With a bit more attention to such details, it could easily be a 5-star experience. I would rate it 4 stars.
