Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar - Local Sightseeing
- Welcome to Kashmir, the heaven on earth!
- Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
- The city is located in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, as well as Dal and Anchar lakes.
- Srinagar is renowned for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts, and houseboats.
- Upon arrival at the airport, we will collect our luggage and proceed to check in at our hotel in Srinagar.
- After check-in, you may take a walk around and enjoy the surroundings of Dal Lake, which is within walking distance.
- Following the walk, we will proceed for local sightseeing, covering the famous Mughal Gardens:
- Nishat Bagh - "Abode of Pleasure" on the shore of Dal Lake
- Shalimar Bagh - "Abode of Love," built by Jahangir for his wife, Empress Noor Jehan
- Cheshma Shahi
Day 2 Srinagar - Gulmarg
- Wake up in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
- Proceed to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers, located 2730 meters above sea level.
- Gulmarg offers spectacular views of snow-capped mountain peaks, conifer forests, and green meadows.
- It is home to the highest 18-hole golf course in the world.
- Afterward, you will have free time for activities on your own.
- You may enjoy an optional sledge ride on the snow-covered slopes (available on a direct payment basis).
- Next, enjoy the Gondola Ride/Cable Car Ride (at your own cost).
- This ride can take you up to a height of 16,000 feet above sea level and will mesmerize you with the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat.
- A word of caution: it is cold there, so be sure to wear warm clothes and accessories.
- If you have a knack for winter sports, you can prepare for snow skiing, sledging, snow biking, and ATV biking.
Day 3 Srinagar - Sonamarg
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow).
- On the way to Sonamarg, visit Jamia Masjid in District Ganderbal.
- Sonamarg lies in the Sindh Valley, adorned with flowers and surrounded by mountains.
- Sonamarg is also the base for several interesting treks to the high-altitude Himalayan lakes.
- Enjoy horse riding up to Thajiwas Glacier and sledge riding on snow (available for direct payment).
- Also visit Zero Point / Zojila Pass (at your own cost).
- In the evening, drive back to Srinagar.
Day 4 Srinagar - Pahalgam
- After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam.
- Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, at an elevation of 2,130 m.
- Once a humble shepherd’s village, Pahalgam now offers breathtaking views.
- En route, visit saffron fields, a bat factory, and Apple Valley while enjoying the beautiful countryside and numerous rice fields.
- Drive through picturesque pine forests.
- Pahalgam is Kashmir’s premier resort, remaining cool even during the height of summer, with maximum temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
- After lunch, enjoy bridle walks and capture the magnificent views of the mountains with your camera.
Day 5 Pahalgam - Srinagar + Houseboat Stay + Shikara Ride
- After breakfast, return to Srinagar.
- Visit Pari Mahal and Jami Masjid in Srinagar.
- In the evening, proceed for a Shikara ride on Dal Lake; this ride is one of the most soothing and restful aspects of a holiday in Jammu and Kashmir.
- Experience the floating gardens (raadh), which is yet another wonderful experience.
- Dinner and overnight stay in a Dal Lake houseboat.

- If the plan is cancelled more than 15 days prior to the scheduled arrival, a 50% retention charge will be applicable from the total package cost.
- If the plan is cancelled more than 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival, a 70% retention charge will be applicable from the total package cost.

The best part of the trip was driver Mr. Imtiyaz. He is nature wise very good & supportive & his drove us safely. He guided us properly at each sight. In a short, he treated us like a family member & made our journey a memorable one. Initially, we booked for 3 nights trip, but driver Imtiyaz suggested to extend it to explore more in Kashmir. We extended for 2 more days and it was worth it. We had definitely missed the beauty of Kashmir.
