Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station– Gangtok Hotel
  • Meet and greet upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra International Airport.
  • Transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft).
  • Check-in at the hotel upon arrival.
  • Rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 2 hours from Gangtok) and continue driving to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 1 hour from Tsomgo Lake).
  • Return to Gangtok in the evening for an overnight stay.
  • Note: Documents required for Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir include 2 passport-sized photos along with a photocopy of a photo ID proof (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID; Pan Card and Aadhar Card are not accepted). For children below 18 years, a Birth Certificate, School ID, or College ID is mandatory. Originals must be carried while traveling.
  • In case of a landslide or any other reason that causes Tsomgo Lake to be closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing options.
  • After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft).
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
  • Early morning (4:00 AM) visit to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token).
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast.
  • Starting at 8:30 AM, visit the following attractions:
    • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
    • P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays)
    • Tenzing Rock
    • Ropeway
    • Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays)
    • Tea Garden (outer view)
    • Japanese Temple
  • Evening free for shopping or leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drop off at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport.

When I was given a tour enquiry to the DreamFly, I received a call from DreamFly, a woman voice so gently and motherly tone i.e Mamatha Madam. Fascinated by the way of approach of Mamatha Sister (because I am a Senior Citizen) I have confirmed our family tour with DreamFly as the tour cost has been chalked out so cost concept manner. Mamatha Sister is oftenly asked about problems when we were travelling and suggesting and arranging for better way out for our journey. We do not have more words to thank Mamatha madam for her tour co-ordination. We will plan a Rajasthan and Gujarath tour with DreamFly with the help of Mamatha Sister.
