Upon arrival at Leh Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. As Leh is situated at an altitude of approximately 3,500 meters (11,500 ft), complete rest is highly recommended on the first day to help your body acclimatize to the high altitude. Spend the day relaxing at the hotel and avoid strenuous activities. In the evening, you may take a short walk around the local market if you feel comfortable.
