Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Leh

On arrival, pickup from the airport and transfer to hotel.
Later, acclimatize yourself with the low atmospheric pressure because of the high altitude of Ladakh.
After lunch, visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Leh to Alchi/ Uleytokpo (Sham Valley)

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing on the Leh – Srinagar highway.
Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib.
Proceed further and witness the nagic of Magnetic Hill (the hill defy gravity).
Next, visit Sangam- the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers.
Also visit Spituk, Alchi and Likir Monasteries.
Overnight stay in Uleytokpo / Alchi.

Day 3 Alchi / Uleytokpo to Leh

After breakfast, proceed to Lamayuru (the oldest monastery in Ladakh).
Admire the Moon landscape and scenic views on the way.
Return back to Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Leh to Nubra Valley

After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (the world’s highest motorable road).
En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass.
Check-in the hotel.
Enjoy a Bactrian camel safari in the evening.
Overnight stay at camp/ resort in Nubra Valley.

Day 5 Nubra Valley Local Sightseeing and Back to Leh

After breakfast, visit Diskit and Hunder villages and monasteries.
Stroll around the place to see the life style of people living at the northernmost region of India.
Drive back to Leh via Khardung la Pass.
Overnight stay In Leh.

Day 6 Leh to Pangong Lake

After breakfast, visit Shey, Thiksey and Sindhu Ghat.
Then leave for Pangong Lake through Chang La Pass.
Chang la Pass is the third highest motorable road.
Enjoy the spectacular beauty of the lake.
Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 7 Pangong Lake to Leh

After breakfast, travel back to Leh.
En route take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea.
Visit Shanti Stupa in the evening to enjoy a mesmerizing sunset.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8 Departure from Leh

After breakfast, drop to Leh airport to catch the onward flight back home.

Our Innova Crysta driver Moosa was punctual and very adjusting. Hotels in Leh, Hanle & Nubra were good and comfortable. For remote locations of Pangong & Tso Moriri, the cottages there are average.
