Detailed Itinerary
On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35-minute drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river. Visit the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, Hazratbal Dargah Sharif, Chashma Shahi Garden, Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, Pari Mahal, and Shankaracharya Temple. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel/houseboats.
After breakfast, drive to Kargil, with en-route stops at Sonamarg and Baltal hamlets, famous for rugged snow-peaked meadows. Cross over Zoji-La Pass (11,500 ft) and continue on to Kargil after a passport check (not for Indian citizens). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Leh, visiting Mulbekh, Lamayuru Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River, and Ladakh Hall of Fame en route. Reach Leh in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning, proceed to Nubra Valley via the world's highest motorable road, Khardungla Pass. Arrive in Nubra and visit the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. Enjoy a camel ride (at your own expense). If time permits, visit Hunder and Deskit monasteries and check in at Deluxe Camp/Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight dinner and stay.
After breakfast, drive to Turtuk for sightseeing, then return to Nubra. Overnight at the hotel. Turtuk is the northernmost village of India and was under Pakistan's control until 1971.
After breakfast, proceed to Pangong. Upon arrival, check in at the camp. Evening relax, dinner, and overnight at the tent.
After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Changla Pass. On the way, visit Shey, Thiksey Monastery, and Rancho School. Arrive in Leh and relax at the hotel or enjoy individual activities. Dinner and overnight stay.
Leave early morning and drive through La-chungla Pass (5065 M). Reach Jispa in the evening. Overnight dinner and stay.
After breakfast, drive to Manali via Atal Tunnel. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening relax. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for drop-off.
