Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kochi - Temples and Traditions

You will meet our representative upon arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway Station.
Transfer to the hotel and check in to the hotel.
After freshening up, proceed for sightseeing in Kochi.
Visit Adi Shankara Temple, Aluva Lord Shiva Temple, Adwaitha Asharamam, and Kodanad Elephant Training Camp.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day 2 Drive to Alleppey - Houseboat Cruise

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey.
On arrival at Alleppey, check-in to the houseboat for an overnight cruise.
Along the way, you will pass rice fields and tiny villages.
You will disembark from the boat to wander the villages and talk to the people.
At night the boat will anchor midstream.
Overnight stay at Alleppey.

Day 3 Transfer to Varkala - Beach Relaxation

After breakfast, proceed to Varkala.
On arrival in Varkala, transfer to the hotel and check in.
Later, relax on the beach.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Varkala Sightseeing - Temples and Beaches

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Varkala.
Visit the beautiful beaches, Janardhanaswamy Temple, and the ashram - Sivagiri Mutt.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 5 Varkala to Trivandrum - Cultural Exploration

After breakfast, proceed to Trivandrum.
On arrival in Trivandrum, check in to the hotel.
Later proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum.
Visit Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika, and Sree Chitra Art Gallery.
Later in the evening, go shopping.
Dinner and overnight stay at Trivandrum.

Day 6 Departure - Farewell to Kerala

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey home.

All accommodations were pretty good. The driver was also very helpful. The veh (Read More)icle was very good. Mr Bala Subramaniam of Apollo Tours gave us a detailed itinerary of all the places we were supposed to visit. He was in touch with us on and off to enquire about our comfort. That was really very nice of him. As per the programme we visited all the places acvording to the schedule.

The towels supplied at Rameswaram was pretty old. They should change the towels (Read More) at least once a year. We missed Kovalam beach as the driver took us just behind the hotel. That place was actually meant for bus parking. In fact we asked the driver why no crowd at all and it looks very small. We came to know about it once we reached our friend's house in Trivandrum. It is a great loss for us. I do not blame the Tour operator as he has clearly mentioned lighthouse beach at Kovalam.. It is a deliberate mistake on the part of the driver.
