Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar
  • Our representative will receive you from the Srinagar Airport.
  • You will be comfortably transferred to your hotel, with assistance provided for check-in formalities.
  • After freshening up, you will visit the Mughal Gardens, including Nishat, Shalimar, Chashma Shahi, and others planned for the day.
  • You will also visit the famous Hazratbal Shrine and Shankaracharya Temple.
  • At the end of the day trip, you will return to the hotel in Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Embark on a full-day excursion to the picturesque 'Meadow of Gold', Sonamarg.
  • The fast-flowing Sindh River is famous for trout and mahseer fishing in summer.
  • Opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for fun in the snow and ice (additional payment required).
  • Return to the houseboat in Srinagar.
  • In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake to experience tranquility and relaxation.
  • Return to the houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Note: The vehicle will drop you off and pick you up at the Sonamarg car stand.
  • To reach the glaciers, ponies can be hired on a payment basis.
  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Be transferred to Gulmarg by road.
  • Upon arrival, ride the world's highest cable car, also known as the Gondola Ride, which is divided into two phases.
  • The second phase will take you up to 14,000 feet above sea level, so be cautious of altitude sickness.
  • After sightseeing, return to the Srinagar hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Pahalgam.
  • Upon reaching Pahalgam, check in at the hotel.
  • Later, proceed to local sightseeing, visiting the following attractions:
    • Aru Valley: Located around 11 km from Pahalgam, Aru Valley is the base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and the Tarsar-Marsar Lake. It lies beside the Aru River and is known for its scenic meadows and activities such as horse riding, hiking, and trekking.
    • Chandanwari: Situated 15 km from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is the starting point of the famous Amarnath Yatra. It is breathtaking, surrounded by snow-dusted mountains and the Lidder River flowing by. Chandanwari is famous for snow sledding on a snow bridge and enjoying picnics.
    • Baisaran: Baisaran is a beautiful destination 6 km away from Pahalgam, often referred to as the mini Switzerland of India. It features tranquil meadows, pristine lakes, and picturesque settings. Visitors can stroll through the area or sit down for a picnic. Baisaran also offers activities like pony rides and zorbing.
    • Betaab Valley: Betaab Valley is a breathtaking combination of picturesque surroundings encircled by tall deodar trees and pine forests, with the Lidder River flowing through it. It got its name from the Bollywood movie Betaab, starring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh, which was filmed here.
  • After sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Today morning, after breakfast, check out of the hotel.
  • Proceed to Katra.
  • Upon arrival, check into the hotel.
  • The evening is free to spend at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • This morning, after breakfast, proceed to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in India, located in the Trikuta Hills.
  • The yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 km from Ban Ganga Bridge in Katra.
  • An alternative way to perform darshans is by using battery-operated cars, ponies, palkis, or helicopters.
  • If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari and Bhairo Temple.
  • A ropeway now connects Vaishno Devi Bhawan to Bhairo Temple.
  • After visiting the temples, return to the hotel in Katra and relax.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Transfer to Jammu Airport.
  • Board your flight with memorable experiences.

What's Not Good: The agency could not arrange gondola tickets even for the first phase, though booked 1½ months in advance in Gulmarg.

The experience was suberb. I visited Kashmir with my family 7n 8d . Hotels and drivers was very good . All management was good .looking forward to book another trip with INDO TOURS AND ADVENTURES.and (Read More)thanks to Mr Shaan to create a memorable trip.

Gave us below average hotels. Not worth the money they charged us.

Trip to Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg

We booked indo tours and travels for our family trip to Kashmir. We talked to Shaan and although he was really good to talk to, was pretty flexible with the payment, our experience in hotels was terri (Read More)ble. And since he wasn’t in Kashmir, there was little he could do about it. We visited in the last week of December and it was very cold and the hotels were not centrally heated as he had claimed before. The driver he gave us was really helpful and the trip was planned well but the whole hotel fiasco toned down our enthusiasm a bit. Would definitely not choose him for next time.

Please read my Reply very well.
You guys didn’t Follow the Hotels/houseboat check-in and checkout policy.

You Guys do not follow the Company Payments policy.

You guys smoke in the houseboat. (You cannot smoke in the houseboat room as per the houseboat policy.)

I support you to check in the houseboat first day at 9 AM and provided you Gas heater. The houseboat check time is 2 pm (You didn’t mention this in your feedback)

Clearly mentioned in the itinerary which hotels are central heated and which are not and we informed you also. We provided you with the same property that is mentioned in your itinerary.

Your Budget was Too low still I offer you the best property.
Shangloo houseboat with Gas Heaters 1nights
Shelter heritage with Gas heaters for 2 nights
Queen park Pahalgam Fully Central heated for 2 nights (You didn’t mention in your feedback)
And at the last, you told me that you don’t want to recheck in Shelter heritage.
We provided you with Asian Park 4-star property in Srinagar. (You didn’t mention this in your feedback)
