Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival and Half day Sightseeing in Kathmandu
  • Meeting with our local representative upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal, and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The modern city consists of two main areas: Patan and Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
  • Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest stupas in the world, Boudhanath is a hub of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The towering white dome is adorned with colorful prayer flags, and the surrounding area is filled with monasteries and shops selling religious artifacts. Pilgrims and tourists circumambulate the stupa, spinning prayer wheels and offering devotion.
  • Pashupatinath Temple: This revered Hindu temple complex, located along the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his manifestation as Pashupati, the Lord of Animals. The temple's intricate architecture and the rituals performed here offer a deep insight into Hindu spirituality and funeral practices.
  • Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
  • Check out from the hotel and transfer to Kathmandu Airport to catch the flight to Pokhara. From Pokhara town (2,352 feet), the surrounding mountains have splendid views.
  • Pumdikot: A hill station near Pokhara in Kaski District of Gandaki Province, Nepal. Located at 1,500 meters above sea level, it has the second tallest Shiva statue in Nepal, after Kailashnath Mahadev.
  • World Peace Pagoda: Also known as Shanti Stupa, this monument was built by Nipponzan-Myōhōji monk Morioka Sonin and local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and founder of Nipponzan-Myōhōji. The word "Shanti" means peace in Sanskrit and is widely used in Nepali and Hindi.
  • Overnight stay in Pokhara.
  • Bindebasini Temple: One of the oldest temples in Pokhara, it was part of the Kaski Kingdom. The main deity is Goddess Durga, who was brought from India. Apart from its peace and tranquility, the temple premises offer a good view of the Himalayas on clear days. Located near the bazaar, the temple can be combined with a visit to the old market.
  • Devi's Fall: Also known as Patale Chhango, this impressive waterfall is located 2 km southwest of Pokhara. It is at its best during the summer and rainy seasons when the water rushes through the rocks.
  • Gupteshwor Cave: This cave is a popular attraction known for its natural limestone formations. Photography is strictly prohibited inside.
  • Taal Barahi Temple: Situated on an island in Phewa Lake, this small pagoda-style temple is dedicated to Goddess Barahi. It holds cultural and spiritual significance for locals. Visitors can take a boat ride across the lake to reach the temple while enjoying serene views of the surrounding hills.
  • Overnight stay in Pokhara.
  • Check out from the hotel and transfer to Pokhara Airport to catch the flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
  • Patan Durbar Square: Also known as Lalitpur, this city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu by the Bagmati River. It is the second-largest town in the valley and is famous for its architectural masterpieces. The central Durbar Square is densely packed with temples, boasting a more significant concentration per square meter than Kathmandu or Bhaktapur. The city also houses a Tibetan refugee center, where visitors can purchase fine Tibetan carpets.
  • Swayambhunath: The golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu Stupa is adorned with colorful prayer flags and offers panoramic views of Kathmandu. The stupa is one of Nepal's most recognizable symbols, with Buddha's eyes painted on it, watching over the city.
  • Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Check-out from hotel and drive to Kathmandu airport for onward journey to India. Tour ends with life time memories.
