The word "Shanti" means peace in Sanskrit and is widely used in Nepali and Hindi.

• Devi's Fall: Also known as Patale Chhango, this impressive waterfall is located 2 km southwest of Pokhara. It is at its best during the summer and rainy seasons when the water rushes through the rocks.
