Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar

Meet our representative at Srinagar Airport for assistance and transfer to the hotel.
Visit the famous Mughal gardens, including Shalimar, Nishat, Tulip Gardens, Botanical Gardens, Chesmashahi, and Parimahal.
Explore the Hazratbal Shrine, located on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Hills in the background.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

Depart for Gulmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Flowers," at 2,730 meters above sea level.
Experience one of the best ski slopes and an 18-hole golf course.
If weather permits, witness the stunning view of Nanga Parbat, a peak over 26,000 feet high.
Enjoy a cable car ride (Gondola at own cost) up to Khilangmarg for breathtaking mountain views.
Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar

After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam, known as "The Valley of Shepherds."
En route, visit the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient Awantipura Ruins (1,100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu).
Drive through the scenic countryside and lush pine forests.
Arrive in Pahalgam and enjoy the serene Lidder Stream.
Walk along picturesque pony trails with magnificent mountain views.
Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport.

Other Details

Prepaid SIM cards do not work in Jammu and Kashmir due to security reasons, only postpaid connections are allowed.
In Katra, rates for Pithu, Palki, and Pony services are fixed by the Municipal Committee and displayed outside their booking office at Banganga. Bargaining may be required for overcharging.
In Srinagar, if staying at a houseboat, Shikara rides are complimentary. Do not pay extra.
Ponies are not mandatory in Gulmarg and Pahalgam as major attractions are within walking distance. If opting for ponies, sledging, or rafting, prices are highly negotiable.
Sightseeing to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari in Pahalgam is only allowed by the local taxi union. Outside vehicles are not permitted, and rates are negotiable.
Recommended shopping items include dry fruits, rajma, basmati rice, handicrafts, woolens, carpets, and saffron. Best shopping areas in Srinagar are Lal Chowk and Boulevard Road.
For authentic Kashmiri Wazwan cuisine, Aadhoos at Lal Chowk is the best place, and Gee Enn Bakers on Residency Road serves excellent mutton kebabs.
For vegetarian food, Krishna Dhaba in Srinagar is highly recommended.
