Trip to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India

Review: A Disappointing Experience with Driver Logistics and Service Quality Rating: 2.5 / 5 My friend and I recently booked a 5-day custom tour of Rajasthan through Budget Holidays India. As solo female travelers from a metro city, we deliberately chose a local agency over larger pan-India operators, expecting strong regional expertise, reliable logistics, and a safe, welcoming environment. Unfor (Read More)tunately, the trip fell far short of these expectations due to poor driver management, unprofessional communication, and inadequate customer support. Please note that deleting a review link does not prevent clients from sharing honest feedback about their experience. Key Issues & Logistics * Lack of Local Expertise: Our assigned driver was unfamiliar with basic site schedules, requiring us to constantly rely on Google Maps to navigate. Major itinerary highlights were missed entirely due to poor timing - for instance, we were taken to Shilpgram around 8:00 PM (an hour after its 7:00 PM closing time) and brought to the Karni Mata Ropeway after ticket issuance had closed at 8:30 PM. * Unprofessional Conduct: The driver displayed inappropriate behavior throughout the trip, making offensive remarks that made us deeply uncomfortable as female travelers. * Defensive Support: When we escalated these safety and service concerns to Mr. Bhanu Pratap, the initial understanding quickly turned into defensiveness. Hearing comments such as "hamari majboori hai" was entirely unacceptable for a professional service provider - the burden of a mismanaged trip fell entirely on us as paying guests. Rajasthan is a wonderful destination, but a tour company’s primary duty is to ensure seamless logistics and guest safety. On both fronts, Budget Holidays India failed to deliver. Hotel Feedback: * Jaipur (Yash Regency): 5/5 – Excellent hospitality and accommodations. * Udaipur (Siddhartha Inn): 4/5 – Good overall experience. * Jodhpur (Om Heritage): 3.5/5 – Decent stay, average food with unhygienic tables and menus.
