Welcome to Srinagar! Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at Srinagar Airport and assist you with your transfer. Srinagar is one of the most enchanting destinations in the world, rich in culture and history dating back to the 3rd century B.C.
The name Srinagar comes from the Sanskrit words “Sri” (meaning Goddess Lakshmi) and “Nagar” (meaning city). Some historians believe the city was founded during the reign of Emperor Ashoka near the Pandrethan village, about 5 km from modern Srinagar.
Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in a traditional houseboat on the Dal Lake and experience its mesmerizing views under the starlit sky.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the scenic Sonmarg, also known as the Meadow of Gold. Located at 2,743 meters above sea level, Sonmarg is the last point in the Kashmir district before entering Ladakh.
The Sindh River flowing through Sonmarg is famous for trout and mahseer fishing during summer. You can opt for a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier for some snow fun (at your own expense). After the tour, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Note:
- Sightseeing at Thajiwas Glacier is done by pony (at your own cost).
- Tour to Zero Point & Fish Pond requires a union cab (on direct payment).
Drive to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers. The scenic drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg is breathtaking. Gulmarg is a global hub for skiing and snowboarding and was once a retreat for British officials during the colonial era.
Explore the lush meadows, enjoy the 18-hole golf course, and take the Gondola Cable Car (book online in advance) to Apharwat and Kongdoori. Later, drive back to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Note:
- In winter, due to heavy snowfall, vehicles go only till Tangmarg. From there, hire a chained vehicle (at own expense) for the 13 km stretch to Gulmarg.
Drive to Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds, historically a grazing ground for nomadic herders. Mythologically, it’s believed Lord Shiva chose Pahalgam to share the secret of immortality with Parvati.
Surrounded by lofty hills, evergreen forests, and the melodious Lidder River, Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful health resorts in Jammu and Kashmir. It’s also a base camp for the sacred Amarnath Yatra. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
After breakfast will proceed for Srinagar Airport/ Railway station with good memories of Kashmir trip

The company is responsible only for services paid by the guest. Any suggested or optional services not paid for will not be provided or reimbursed.
Unavoidable Circumstances
In case of natural or man-made calamities (e.g., riots, floods, accidents), if the itinerary is changed or extended, additional expenses will be borne by the guests. No refund will be provided for unused services if a guest leaves the tour mid-way due to illness, family emergencies, etc.
Reservation Policy
Confirmation is subject to receipt of 100% payment:
- 50% advance at the time of booking
- Remaining 50% at least 10 days before the tour date
- For bookings within 10 days of travel, 100% payment is required at the time of booking
- 30% advance payment within 48 hours of confirmation
- 30% when demanded by hotelier
- Remaining 40% at the time of arrival
- Failure to pay on time will result in automatic cancellation without further notice
- 0 to 5 years: Complimentary without a bed
- 5 to 12 years: Chargeable as per extra bed policy
- If air tickets are booked through us, 100% cancellation of ticket amount applies if non-refundable
- 60 to 30 days before arrival: 25% retention of total tour cost
- 30 to 15 days before arrival: 50% retention of total tour cost
- Less than 15 days / No show: 100% retention of total tour cost
