Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be greeted by your local tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon, you will set off to visit the historical sites of the city: the old Post Office (built in the French Indochina era), Notre Dame Cathedral, Dong Khoi Street - a wide avenue lined with luxurious shops and hotels. Next, visit the War Remnants Museum - the first exhibits US weapons and vehicles used during the Vietnam War, along with photos showing the consequences of this war and details of the chemical weapons that were used (caution: some images can cause discomfort). At the end of your visit, you will have some free time to stroll around and explore the city.

You will leave early in the morning heading towards the Cu Chi Tunnels, located one hour from Ho Chi Minh City. Originally dug by hand by the Viet Minh (Resistance force) during the French Indochina War, this network of underground tunnels was expanded during the Vietnam War. At its peak, it was 200-kilometers long, 3-to-4-meters deep and was very well equipped, including meeting rooms and medical and sanitary posts.
Today it is one of the largest historical sites of the Vietnam War. You will begin the visit by watching a documentary on the tunnels and the war in the 60s-70s, then you can pass through various narrow underground ducts in order to discover the rooms: offices, kitchens, meeting rooms, weapons stores and even hospitals. At the end of the tour, you will have the chance to taste the specialty of Cu Chi, the khoai my luoc (boiled cassava), a Vietnamese dish eaten daily during the war. After your visit, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City. After lunch, you will discover the city’s Chinatown (Cholon), where Binh Tay international market and Thien Hau pagoda are located.

Spend a full day for your excursion to Ben Tre, the land of coconut trees in the Mekong Delta. You’ll cruise along the attributes of Mekong River, visit local handicrafts, cycle through the tranquil villages of lush fruit orchards and vegetations. Have lunch with specialties in Ben Tre, you then will explore further of this land before returning back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Have some free time to do shopping, sip local drinks and savor the local food in HCMC (on your own) this morning. At good time, you’ll be transferred to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who reined Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century to dedicate to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction. It is time to for a romantic sunset view. Have funny time at bars and pubs at Angkor night market!
