Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (120 kms / 5 hrs)
  • Meet and greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.).
  • Check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • Start with a full-day city tour covering Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower Show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery, and Banjakhri Falls.
  • Maximum sightseeing duration is six hours.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, start an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.).
  • Distance covered is 55 km one way from Gangtok city.
  • In case of a landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, alternate sightseeing will be provided.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for departure.

Other Details

Documents Required & Entry Formalities for Sikkim & Darjeeling

  • Six passport-sized photographs of each traveler with name, age, and gender written behind each photograph.
  • Original and photocopy of valid photo ID proof for each traveler.
  • Valid ID proof includes passport, election ID card, driving license, or any government-issued document with a photo, name, and address.
  • Aadhar card and PAN card are not accepted for Sikkim Restricted Area Permit (RAP).
  • Upon arrival, all required documents must be placed in a blank envelope and submitted at the hotel reception in Gangtok.
  • Children below 18 years without a passport must carry a school or college ID along with a photocopy and original birth certificate in English.
  • Tourists with an OCI or PIO card must also carry their original passport for entry.

Amendment Policy

  • Any amendment to a booked tour will be treated as a cancellation.
  • Minor amendments can be made with an amendment fee of INR 5000 plus actual incurred costs.

Payment Policy

  • 40% of the total package amount must be paid in advance to confirm the booking.
  • Bookings will not be processed without advance payment.
  • 30% of the amount must be paid after receiving the confirmation voucher.
  • The remaining amount must be cleared upon arrival.
  • Payments made through a credit card will incur an additional 3% charge.
  • Arrival details such as train or flight number must be shared for itinerary planning.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be sent via mail or fax.
  • From the date of booking, 40% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • 30 to 15 days prior to departure, 60% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • 14 to 1 day prior to departure, 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to unforeseen weather conditions, government restrictions, or COVID-related restrictions.
  • Efforts will be made to minimize cancellation charges whenever possible.
  • Ask Adventure Tours reserves the right to determine the advance payment amount based on the nature of the service and time left for the tour.
  • For peak season bookings during Christmas, New Year, fairs, or festivals, full payment may be required in advance, which is non-refundable.

Nine nights and ten days tour was organised by Ask adventure tours for we the 65 years plus senior citizen couple. We covered three nights at Gangtok, two nights at Peling, four nights at Darjeeling and one night at Kalimpong. We also covered Mirik day tour from Darjeeling. Even we enjoyed steam joy ride train at Darjeeling. From Gangtok we Even enjoyed Natu la pass. Beautiful itinerary was made, (Read More)organised and facilitated. Followup by tour operator was good. Hotel accommodation was also good and comfortable
Did not provide vehicle as promised but charged for the same extra for Nathula pass which caused lot of discomfort to us since all 4 of us are senior citizens . On other days vehicles provided were in good condition and no issue with them

Please do not use this company. They are very careless and their cab service is terrible. The drivers are very very irresponsible. They will never reach in time. They will leave you in remote location (Read More)s without any pickup arrangements. If you are traveling with children or senior citizens, then please do not use Ask Adventure. It will be.a big mistake and you will regret it.
