- On this day, we drive to Rohtang Pass for a day excursion.
- Rohtang Pass was once an important trade route in medieval times between Leh and Himachal through Lahul and Spiti.
- Rising snow peaks tower above the clouds, providing an experience of a lifetime.
- If the road to Rohtang Pass is closed, ponies and horses can be hired directly to reach the pass or Snow Point.
- We return to the hotel in the evening and spend the night in Manali.
- Note: Only local vehicles are allowed for the Rohtang Pass/Snow Point visit (at an extra cost).
- This day, you will be taken on a city tour of Manali and the interesting places to visit around the city.
- On top of your list will be the 450-year-old Hidimba Devi Temple and the Tibetan Monastery.
- The Hidimba Devi Temple is a deeply revered shrine with a four-tiered roof shaped like pagodas.
- At the Tibetan Monastery, you will see several unique Buddha statues and Thangka paintings.
