Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Dehradun – Transfer to Harsil (216 km / 8-9 hrs approx.)
Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport/Railway Station, meet our driver and embark on a scenic drive to Harsil via Uttarkashi. Known for its apple production, Harsil boasts a unique history tied to Frederick E. Wilson, a British settler. Check into your hotel upon arrival, refresh, and enjoy dinner before a peaceful overnight stay in Harsil.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and explore the picturesque Nelong and Gartang Valleys. Nelong Valley offers breathtaking views of the Tibetan Plateau from 11,000 feet, making it a thrilling experience for trekkers. Garstang Valley is known for its historic 136-m-long wooden stairway, a marvel built by Peshawari Pathans. Later, drive to Uttarkashi, check into your hotel, and relax with dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Chopta, passing through the scenic Ghansali region. En route, witness the stunning Mandakini River at Tilwara, which originates from Kedarnath. Upon arrival at Chopta, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in this tranquil destination.
After breakfast, begin your trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world and part of the Panch Kedar temples. From Tungnath, continue your trek to Chandrashila Peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba. After a day of exploration, return to the hotel, refresh, and enjoy dinner before resting for the night in Chopta
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Auli via Joshimath. On the way, visit Adi Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh Temple in Joshimath. Upon arrival in Auli, check into your hotel, refresh, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, explore Auli, a popular skiing destination known for its pristine slopes and stunning views. Dotted with apple orchards, oak trees, and deodar forests, Auli offers spectacular views of the Himalayas, including Nanda Devi and Mana Parvat. Visit the Auli Artificial Lake and Hanuman Temple and enjoy activities like skiing (in winter). Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Dehradun. En route, visit the holy confluence points at Rudraprayag and Devprayag. The journey concludes as you arrive in Dehradun for your drop-off, leaving you with sweet memories of the trip.

Travel Acharya arranged a very good Char Dham Yatra. Their drivers were very wel (Read More)l-mannered, courteous, and skilled at driving. The accommodation arrangements were also very good, and the hotels were clean and comfortable. One day, the journey had to be halted due to government restrictions, because of which we had to bear the additional expenses for the driver and hotel ourselves. We had reduced the original 10-day, 9-night package to 9 days and 8 nights. However, since the journey from Badrinath to Haridwar was around 13 hours, we had to make an overnight stay in Chamoli at our own expense. Apart from this, the entire journey was very well organised and was completed smoothly without any major issues. We were also shown the scenic spots and beautiful sights along the way. Thank you, Travel Acharya! 🙏 During the journey, I also wrote down my travel experiences and memories in my diary while travelling in the vehicle.

We booked our Chardham Yatra package (4 people - family) with Get Go Trip in Sep (Read More)’ 2026. We had a great experience with them. The whole team is friendly, polite and they accommodated well with our preferences of hotels and itinerary. The hotels we stayed in were also very comfortable - rooms were clean, food was fresh and views were filled with scenic beauty!! The driver was also very experienced, he drove smoothly and safely on risky roads, kept the car clean, always had real-time information about routes/ diversions because of landslides, and he also had amazing mid-way restaurants’ recommendations. Overall I would give Get Go Trip a 5/5 ⭐️
