Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Dehradun – Transfer to Harsil (216 km / 8-9 hrs approx.)

Upon your arrival at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our driver. Begin your scenic drive to Harsil via Uttarkashi, a route rich in natural beauty. Harsil is famous for its apple production, a legacy attributed to British settler Frederick E. Wilson. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, refresh, and enjoy dinner, followed by an overnight stay at Harsil.

After breakfast, head out to explore the beautiful Nelong and Gartang Valleys. Nelong Valley, located 45 km from the Indo-Tibetan border, offers a surreal view of the Tibetan Plateau from 11,000 ft. Garstang Valley, featuring a 150-year-old wooden stairway built into a granite rock face, provides a thrilling glimpse of the region’s history. Return to your hotel in Harsil for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on your journey to Tehri. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Later in the day, visit Tehri Lake, Asia's largest man-made lake, where you can enjoy adventure activities like boating, jet skiing, and more. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Tehri.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Dehradun via Chamba and Narendra Nagar. Enjoy the scenic journey before your drop-off at Dehradun with beautiful memories of the trip.

We booked from ABD holidays for Delhi-Haridwar-Badrinath ji- Haridwar-Delhi trip. Good points- Good hotel in Haridwar( Royal central), cooperative Meena ji throughout the journey, safe and comfortabl (Read More)e trip. Staffs in the hotel were friendly and showed good hospitality. Things to improve- Hotel Dev Ganga( Haridwar) had smelly rooms, bedsheet and linen, washroom was not maintained properly. Hotel Gajraj ( Joshimoth) was by the roadside in the highway which was quite scary and far from the main town. One of the car drivers' smoked a lot and didn't bother about vehicle cleanliness which was not nice. ( Driving was good though). Of the 3 drivers we came across, 2 talked a lot on the phone which I found to be risky while driving ( needs to change). Overall- A good experience, safe and comfortable journey. Meena ji was really good and cooperative throughout the journey and kept in touch till we reached back home. Really appreciate it. Will definitely think of again booking via ABD holidays after they see to the changes that I have mentioned.

We are a group of 6 people that travelled to char dham and we approached abd holidays for our itenary planning to be honest they dealt the best ..i am truly 100% satisfied with the hotels and the fol (Read More)low ups done by them,we are assisted by a person called jahnavi we personally wanted to thank her for her patience and excellent skills in sharing the next accomodation details and providing immediate solutions to any slight inconvience caused ,i truly appreciate her and we are assigned by the driver amarjit singh his driving skills are truly appreciable he has an excellent grip on the driving and the way he controls the vehicle speed is too good we are all very much comfortable and satisfied in choosing Abd holidays ..we personally decided to choose abd for all future trips also . right from the moment we landed in delhi i received continus follow ups from jahnavi regarding our current status ,well being everything ...and immediately after the day iternary is done i used to get the message regarding the next day accomodation ,manager details and all which in a way clear outs our worries and makes the trip calm and pleasant .if you have any issues regarding the stay and the rooms they'll immediately resolve it ..as such mostly they make sure to not make any mistakes ,thank you abd .
