Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi & City Tour
- 3:00 p.m: Pick up in Hanoi Old Quarter
- Welcome to Vietnam! Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel or a designated meeting point in Hanoi Old Quarter.
- During the transfer to Cat Linh Station, you will receive a brief introduction to the history, culture, and cuisine of Hanoi.
- 3:15 p.m: Experience the Cat Linh - Ha Dong Sky Train
- Enjoy a modern elevated train ride with panoramic views of Hanoi's streets and daily life. The ride concludes as you arrive at Ha Dong Station.
- 3:45 p.m: Transfer to Duong Noi Village
- A local driver will pick you up by car or motorbike and take you to a host family's home. Learn about the local lifestyle, traditions, and Northern Vietnamese house architecture.
- 4:00 p.m: Visit & Cultural Exchange at the host family's house
- Enjoy traditional Vietnamese tea and seasonal fresh fruits. Engage with the family to learn about the ingredients and secrets behind making authentic Vietnamese spring rolls (Nem). You'll also have the opportunity to meet and chat with students from Camkey English Center as they practice their English conversation skills with you.
- 4:30 p.m: Cooking Class: Making Vietnamese spring rolls
- Receive step-by-step guidance on selecting ingredients, rolling the spring rolls, and preparing the authentic Northern-style dipping sauce. Each guest will make their own spring rolls and present them at the dining table. Share stories and exchange culinary knowledge between cultures.
- 6:00 p.m: Dinner at the host family's home
- The meal features a delicious menu of fried spring rolls, traditional family dishes such as soup, stir-fried vegetables, steamed rice, and a seasonal fruit dessert.
- This cozy, family-style dinner offers a warm atmosphere and a chance to deepen your cultural connection with the local hosts.
- 7:30 p.m: Return to Hanoi Old Quarter
- You will be transferred back to the Old Quarter, marking the end of the tour.
