Day 1 Guwahati Airport/Railway Station to Shillong

Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Our representative will greet you and drive you to Shillong (120 Km/4 Hours). En route, visit Umiam Lake for water sports activities (a nominal fee is required). Evening check-in at Hotel/Guest House for an overnight stay in Shillong. Evening free for leisure.

Take a city tour of Shillong. Visit Ward’s Lake for garden walks and boating, Lady Hydari Park, Shillong Golf Course, the State Museum, and Don Bosco Museum. Overnight at Hotel/Resort in Shillong.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunjee. Enjoy a drive to see waterfalls and gorges. Visit Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park. En route, visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. Evening check-in at a resort in Cherrapunjee. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.

After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Explore the village, living root bridge, waterfalls, orchards, and unique boulder formations. Evening return to Cherrapunji and check-in at Hotel/Resort. Free for leisure.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey (4 Hours Drive).

  • Driver assistance at the airport during arrival and departure.
  • Miscellaneous charges are inclusive, such as:

  • Airfare and Train fare.
  • Lunch.
  • Any monastery entrance fees, joy rides, rafting, light & sound shows, or any other activities.

  • Transportation is not on a disposal basis; it is strictly as per the program. Any extra running will incur additional charges.
  • Any expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances like flight delays, cancellations, fare hikes, strikes, curfews, or natural calamities (like roadblocks) or any emergency evacuation expenses. If there are any changes in the itinerary due to these circumstances, guests will have to pay directly as per usage.
  • There is no refund if the tour is not completed due to reasons of natural calamities or personal reasons.
  • Any other item not mentioned in the cost includes section.

This tour package includes a 5-day journey from Guwahati to Shillong, exploring beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, and cultural sites.

  • Rs. 2500 per person cancellation or reschedule will be charged once the file is confirmed.
  • GST on the total invoice amount will not be refundable once the file is confirmed.
  • 30 days prior to departure of the tour: 50% of total tour cost.
  • 29 days to 10 days prior to departure of the tour: 75% of total tour cost.
  • 09 days to 01 day prior to departure of the tour: 100% of total tour cost.
  • Air ticket cancellation as per airline policy.
  • There will be no refund for no-shows.
  • All arrangements for the tour are preplanned and prepaid. In case of non-completion of the tour due to any reason, there will not be any refund for any unutilized services. Any extra expenses due to any alterations must be paid extra.
  • If the guest fails to make two consecutive installments within the given time limits, the booking shall be released without prior intimation, and no refund or adjustment in future travel will be possible. The entire advance amount shall be treated as forfeited.

I had booked 7D trip to Meghalaya. Driver and Sedan car provided was good. Out (Read More) of the three stays, First one - Woodland hill stay at Shillong was like a home stay accommodation with limited meal option and complimentary breakfast was just one item. Food was ok. Second one - Riverside resort at Cherapunjee was like a hotel stay but very limited meal option and the location of the resort is far away from main road and the connection roads were not that good. Complimentary breakfast is just ok ok type with one main item. Third one - Treetops residency at Shillong was like a typical hotel stay with good meal option. complimentary breakfast is good with two items. In addition, so many hotels are near police bazar (shillong) where we can try different cuisines. Driver took us to the places as mentioned in itinerary for the first 4 days.
Remaining 3 days, driver told the tourist spots mentioned in the itinerary are n (Read More)ot that great and took us only to two places. As per the information provided upfront, parking fee is part of the package whereas during the travel, driver paid parking fee only in few areas and we paid in most of the spots. A clear communication about parking fee should have been provided to the driver and travels contact person should ensure that tourist spot visit as per itinerary is happening on daily basis. Since we were from Southern part of India, we were little hesitant to speak out and had language barrier to ask the same to driver.
