Day 1 Arrival – Dambulla/Sigiriya
Your Sri Lankan journey begins with a warm welcome upon arrival. Drive to Sigiriya, a culturally rich city steeped in history. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you'll witness rescued elephants being fed and bathed in a peaceful riverside setting.
In the afternoon, explore the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress—a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World."  The climb offers panoramic views and a deep dive into Sri Lanka’s royal past.
Begin the day with a visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple, a magnificent rock-cut complex adorned with Buddhist murals and statues—one of Sri Lanka’s most spiritual and artistic sites.
Continue to Kandy, stopping en route at the Matale Spice Garden for an insightful tour on the island’s rich spice heritage. You’ll also visit a local gem gallery, where you'll learn about Sri Lanka’s famous gemstones. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism’s most sacred pilgrimage sites. It houses a revered relic of Lord Buddha and plays a central role in Sri Lankan spiritual life.
After breakfast, explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, a lush haven of rare orchids, palms, and exotic flora.
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque hill station often dubbed "Little England." On the way, visit the Ramboda Hanuman Temple, an important Ramayana Trail site, and take in the beauty of Ramboda Falls.
