Day 1 Srinagar arrival -local sightseeing
  • Arrival at Srinagar Airport, where our driver will pick you up and take you to the hotel.
  • Rest at the hotel before embarking on a sightseeing tour of the Mughal gardens.
  • Visit Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), located on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.
  • The distance from Srinagar to these gardens is approximately 12 km and 15 km, respectively.
  • En route, visit a carpet weaving factory.
  • Afternoon city tour includes visits to:
    • Fort
    • Jamia Masjid
    • Shah Hamdan Shrine
  • Walk through the narrow streets of the Old City and Downtown to experience the local lifestyle.
  • Return to the hotel or houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Gulmarg.
  • Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley, located 52 km from Srinagar.
  • Historically, Gulmarg has been a resort for kings such as Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir, who visited frequently.
  • Gulmarg boasts Asia's highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola.
  • The two-stage ropeway transports approximately 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of the nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m or 13,780 ft).

Bucket Holidays! The entire trip was very well planned and organised, making our holiday smooth, comfortable, and completely stress-free. Her planning contributed significantly to making our trip enjoyable and hassle-free. The hotels provided a pleasant stay, and we were happy with the overall arrangements throughout the journey. We were particularly impressed with the cab service, and our driver was excellent, courteous, and professional. The comfortable transportation and smooth coordination made our travel experience even better. The only thing we missed was the Gondola Phase 2 ride. We were advised against taking the ride because of the age restriction of 60 years, although one of my friends was able to take it at the same time. This was a little disappointing, as we would have loved to experience it as well. Apart from this one concern, everything was excellent, and we genuinely enjoyed our holiday. Overall, we are very happy with the services provided by Travel Bucket Holidays and appreciate the efforts of Neha and the entire team in making our trip memorable.
