Detailed Itinerary
On your arrival at Srinagar Airport our driver will pick you up and travel towards hotel. You can take some rest and then go for the sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Distance from Srinagar is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute, visit a carpet weaving factory. Afternoon City Tour visiting Fort, Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan Shrine and walk through the narrow streets of Old City, Downtown to experience the living style of local people and evening return to Hotel/Houseboat for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/Houseboat in Srinagar.
After breakfast checkout from the hotel proceeds to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia's highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can also try skiing on your own. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and also has the highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. Later in the evening return back to the Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in the Srinagar hotel.
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second-largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check in at the hotel and Visit to Chandanwari (at your own cost), The snow Point(14 Km) at your own cost or enjoy a pony ride at your own cost.Overnight stay at Srinagar houseboat.
