Day 1 Arrival – Phuentsholing – Thimphu

Distance: 150 km | Driving Time: Approx. 5–6 hours

  • Drive to Thimphu via the scenic mountain highway.
  • Lunch en route.
  • Arrive in Thimphu and check in to the hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing in Bhutan's capital before driving to Paro. 

Thimphu Sightseeing:

  • Buddha Dordenma
  • Memorial Chorten
  • Tashichho Dzong (outside view)
  • Motithang Takin Preserve

Drive to Paro for lunch. Paro Sightseeing:

  • Rinpung Dzong

  2. Transportation on the India side (Bagdogra Airport, NJP Railway Station, or Hasimara Railway Station to/from Phuentsholing) is not included in the package cost.
  3. There is no overnight stay in Phuentsholing, making it ideal for guests departing to Hasimara Railway Station or NJP Railway Station on the same day.
